the vibration feature is GENIUS!! perfect for my DEAF dog!!
we trained my old boy on one of these types of collars when he was just a pup. he's fifteen now, and his age is catching up to him, and he's almost completely deaf. the original collar he grew up with only had the beep and shock feature. he learned to come when he heard the beep or else he'd get a little zap! worked wonderfully. there were few occasions where he was particularly petulant and needed to be shocked, so it was overall a relatively painless experience for him... up until now.he couldn't hear the beep anymore. so, the only option was to shock him, which seemed needlessly cruel. and without the beep, without that warning, he didn't understand why he was getting zapped. instead of coming as he was taught to do, he instead started running away from me. it broke my heart. the only option was to abandon the collar and rob him of his freedom, only allowing him outside on a tie-out where he had limited space to explore. this, too, was heartbreaking.i didn't like this solution, so i started poking around for other options. i came across this collar, saw that it had a vibration feature (something i had never seen before), and immediately ordered it. i crossed my fingers that this would give my lil' old man his freedom back!and it DID! the moment he feels the vibration he comes trotting along, just like he once did when he heard the beep! it is perhaps even more effective than the beep, as i haven't had to shock him once since introducing this collar! i am so happy that he can now roam to his heart's delight, but i have a way to summon him back so he doesn't stray too far off of the property! and now he can explore alongside his sisters again instead of being relegated to a tie-out and only watching their escapades from afar.the construction of the remote and collar is top notch! i love the digital display on the remote, the size of it, and the fact that it can be turned on and off to preserve battery life (a feature that the former remote we used did not have). the module for the collar is well built with excellent attention to detail. i appreciate the rubber cover for the charging port so it is truly waterproof. and on that note, it's wonderful that both the remote and collar can be charged and do not require batteries! it's so intuitive and user-friendly! i could not be more pleased!i highly recommend this!!included is a picture of the sweet old man himself. he approves, too!!

Works well, but be weary If your dog has thick fur
So this collar works very well. It definitely has the ability to get your dogs attention, and the strength to jolt the most stubborn of dogs. The battery lasts a good amount of time, the remote works well long distance. The issue is that my husky collie mix has SUPER thick fur, and even with the collar tightend all the way, and the prongs as far as it could go, she was completely unaffected. The vibration was nothingthe beeps just made her cock her head. My husband touched it immediately after and got a good jolt. So it for sure works. We ended up having to shave a spot on her neck for it to become effective and she's finally starting to understand she can't just doge out the front door whenever she feels like going for a stroll. She's probably one of the most intelligent dogs I've ever met in my life, and she outsmarts me daily. She's also as stubborn as they come.. so if you own a breed that has thick fur, is bred for a colder climate, please be warned that you might have to take extra measures to make this work..and your dog might not be just immune. my husband tested the collar at up to a 20 over his shirt and it didn't effect him at all. So any barrier causes it to be ineffective. Direct contact with the skin is the most effective.Over all though, this is a very nice collar for the $30. It's higher quality than expected, and it does what it's supposed to do as long as it's used correctly, this is a very effective training tool.

Ease of use, but battery life?? Charging ability
Ok got the unit quick and after watching video thought good fit. However, once got unit in hand. I setup charging overnight(instruction mention 2hrs). But to be sure battery fully charge for training purposes. To my dismay, battery doesn't hold a charge for more than 12hrs seems? It will not hold charge!? I don't have unit on all times just when using, but now next say '0' charge. I'd figure it would hold a charge longer.

Works good.
I use this on my 6 month old Rottweiler. The beeping definitely gets his attention and is helping to train him. The vibration we use if he doesn’t listen after a command and a beep, it does make him immediately lay down. The shock feature does not work on him at all. I’ve turned it all the way up and he does not even feel it. I think it might be that his fur is too thick because the shock definitely works. I tried it on my brothers leg. Overall, a great product. I wasn’t planning on shocking him anyways.

Dog collar receiver
I have no complaints with their product except for one the dog collar receiver. They need to change that rubber grommet that covers the charging port. I’ve had two of them already break off had them replaced one. It broke off if you guys could do something about that it should make it a lot better cause you’re the only ones that have a system where you can put more than two dogs on one receiver.
