Amazing budget knife!
My go to bushcraft knife! It comes with cheap paracord wrapping but seriously, not a big deal. The steel is pretty decent and the blade came fairly sharp. I use this for everything from carving pagan wands to making kindling for campfires. I have used it to cut meat for stew and slice the veggies for the same stew. As long as you have a quality knife sharpener and a little bit of respect for your knife there is no reason this knife wouldn't last a lifetime.

It Will Suffice
Some type of metal blade is better than not having one at all. If I had to choose this knife or having too flint-knapp a stone tool, i’m choosing this knife. Ask yourself this question after reading this review - “Do I want a full-tang knife that I can abuse, throw in the dirt, not oil it, stab, pry, and not have to worry because the price of the knife is equivalent to a meal at a fast food restaurant”? If you answered yes, buy the knife. I specifically bought this for on duty work for boxes and rope cutting, and doing basic utility work. I save my more expensive knives for other tasks. It’s a junk knife, or as I like to call it, a “beater” knife. I gave four stars because the edge was dull, dull enough to where I couldn’t cut anything. So if you buy this knife, prepare to have a good whetstone and about an hour of time to get the edge performing well. Even a basic utility edge is ok, at least for me. It doesn’t have to shave hair. If you’re looking for a bombproof knife that’s high quality, look elsewhere. But all in all, not bad for the price. I’ll sure get some use out of it. The paracord wrapped handle is not real paracord, and just by feeling it I know it’s not really durable, but will work in a pinch. You can always make your own handle. The sheath will work for a while but eventually the velcro will fail or the stitching. Again, you could make your own sheath. The ferro rod works and is a nice add on.

Helluva buy
Love this knife. I've ordered two "survivor" knife and fire steel combos so far in different styles. Edge of the first knife was pretty blah, edge on the second was great concidering the cost. Just ran the duller one through a smiths carbide sharpener and now it's fine cutting tool. Sheaths are ok, but I would expect the tip to poke through eventually. This can easily be prevented but inserting a sheat of kydex or other plastic into the sheath to form a reinforcing layer. For a great price you get a neat little knife and a pretty fat fire steel. Buy one, you'll be happy with it.

Not 550 cord! Pretty good blade.
Blade is fine, but sheath and cord around handle are poor. The cord is NOT 550 paracord as stated in other reviews. I simply re-wrapped with about 8 feet of real paracord. If you want a cheap knife for an emergency kit, it is a good value for the cost.

Great knife
This is a great small knife to keep with you when hunting, camping, hiking, etc. I replaced the cord with real 550 cord. I was also able to get this knife really sharp. The fire starter works well. The sheath is a little cheaply made but I expected that. Well worth the money.

Good "Forget About It" knife
The driving force for me to buy this knife was the blade style and the fire steel. I have similar knives with the Tanto style blade, but was excited to see the drop point available here. As others have said, the sheath is poorly designed and there is a real risk that the blade will eventually cut through the bottom of the it. Even with the loop closed around the handle, it is possible to pull the blade out of the sheath. There seems to be a plastic backing to the web of the sheath body, but there is only a single line of stitching all the way around, and some of it has already come loose. I'll probably make my own out of Kydex or leather, though. The blade is thick and sturdy. It's stainless steel, so it won't hold a razors edge, but it will hold a general utility edge and won't rust in most storage situations. The nylon cord wrap around the handle is kind of soft and slick. I'll rewrap it with either 550 paracord or leather cord. The color of the cord and sheath is more of a Coyote Brown than OD Green on my 2 knives. This knife is a bare bones, better than nothing sort of knife. This is the knife you toss in your glove box, survival kit, trunk tool kit, or in the bottom of your bug-out-bag and forget about it until you need it. The blade style will make a great emergency spear point for survival hunting, and it's thick and heavy enough to use as a throwing knife too.

Worth the price.
I bought this knive for 5 dollars and some change including tax and free shipping. Other reviews said it was $10. It's well worth $10. It took several hours to put a good edge on it but I like sharpening knives so that wasn't a problem. I actually laughed at the sheath, the pocket for the firesteel is sewn on crooked but that doesn't bother me. I bought this to throw in a pack and forget it but I actually really like it. It's sturdy and holds an edge ok. It's now in my everyday carry bag because of how slim it is with the sheath.

Only paid C$9.64 for this knife with sheath, firestarter and paracord wrapped handle. Edge was not sharp but a bit of time with a sharpening stone will fix that. Great buy as long as you don't overpay.

I was happy to find a knife with a fire starter and paracord. Unfortunately, the blade is to thick, you would need way more than a sharpening stone to reach any kind of decent edge. Would have happily paid more for such a product if it meant having a reasonnable cutting blade. I don't recommend unless someone can tell me how to sharpen it to a decent edge.

Muy buena pieza.. Su relación costo y calidad es muy buena.. Supera las expectativas de un cuchillo de gama económica.. Trae buen filo de fabrica.. Y con una afilada extra queda de maravilla.. Buen metal.. Le hice pruebas básicas..
