Q: Is this clamp can be replaced by base?

We don't suggestion to change it privately because its design is from saving space idea. If you want to base type, please pay attention to us. We will design a new type in next year. Have a nice mood everyday.

Q: What certification does this modern LED desk lamp have?

I'm looking at one: I see no indication is has a UL certification per se. The mount has the certs for the light: CE and FCC. The power connector is made by Intertek and has ETL, FCC. The power adapter also has a Minimum Energy Performance, indicated by its MEPS level number, of VI. But note, this power connector's ETL listing is effectively the same as UL. From Google: "Because Intertek ETL tests products to previously published UL Standards for Safety, products marked as ETL Listed meet exactly the same criteria as those marked UL Listed or UL Recognized."

Q: All photos show lamp mounted on the side of desk, I can't do that. Anyone mount on the back of the desk, thoughts?
