This body camera seems to work fairly well for the purpose. The clip doesn't clip to anything with a good angle so I recommend looking for a third-party compatible magnet with a built-in connection to the camera like the SHARPWITNESS miufly adapter.Without a button lock, buttons get pressed all of the time. Simply build in a sliding button lock so I can slide it to locked and then slide it to unlocked.

The media could not be loaded. The MIUFLY body camera has a rugged, shockproof, and weatherproof shell with easy-to-access buttons. The camera battery lasts for many hours before it needs to be recharged. The charging cable is a small dock that uses a magnetic charging strip inside the docker.The camera kit comes complete with many different mounting clips. I used the belt clip to attach to my waistband, and it has proven to be very handy to own. I just had an incident with a home intrusion attempt, and I had the camera on, which helped the police identify the perpetrators.The video is very clear, even when moving around. As mentioned, I had a recent security incident, and after reviewing the footage, the quality was excellent. The image was clear and stable, even with me jogging and going up and down stairs around my property in the dark. The night vision works incredibly well. The camera is light and doesn't affect the user's movements when worn.There is an emergency audio SOS record button and manual video controls. A neat feature of the camera is the ability to take camera snapshots while the camera is already recording a video file. I have yet to use the voice activation, but that is another nice selling point.Now, I don't leave the house without the camera. There is even a mount option to use it in a car too.I have the belt clip attached to the camera, so I wear it on my waist until I get into the car. After, I take it off my waist and clip it onto my seatbelt strap over my chest while I am riding or driving. This gives me a nice POV in case of an accident or encounter with criminals or law enforcement. When I get to my destination, I remove the camera from the seatbelt and place it back onto my waistband. I don't even realize I am wearing a camera unless I accidentally bump it into a wall or endcap while shopping.This camera compares with the quality of other brands that I have seen law enforcement use. The MIUFLY S2 PRO is suitable for security guards and commercial applications as well as home use. This is a professional quality camera made close to MILSPECs.The only minor problem that I experienced was getting the camera to play nicely with my Origin Neutron Win11Pro AMD/NVIDIA performance desktop. First, I tested the camera with Linux and MacOS, where I was able to see the camera as an external drive when connected, making it easy to copy over recordings.On the Win11Pro test, for some reason, the camera did not appear on the computer. I will have to play around with the drivers and USB cables to troubleshoot my Windows woes later on.I have used this camera for a couple of weeks, and it has exceeded my expectations. The quality of the hardware is excellent, and the video/audio/picture-producing capabilities make clear media files.I will try to update this review with actual footage shot from the body camera.

I have several versions of this brand of camera and this one just isn't as good as the other ones. I haven't had this one long and used it the past two days and even though the body cam was showing that it was recording, there wasn't any footage when I went to check it.Never had this issue with any of the other cameras and I have already had an issue with this camera where I have had to reset it.I would recommend getting one of their older versions and save yourself some money!

This MIUFLY S2 PRO 2K voice control body camera is extremely user friendly. It has a built in 128GB memory, so it doesn’t require the purchase, installation, and formatting, of a separate micro SD card, like my other body camera did. I like that this wearable body camera is ready for use, right out of the box, without having to deal with any separate micro SD cards. It’s much easier to use, and much more user friendly, than my other body camera is.It has a convenient voice control feature, with audio voice confirmation. I’ve found the voice confirmation feature, to be very helpful, it gives me confirmation that the camera is doing what I want it to do. It has a durable ABS hard plastic shell, with IP67 water resistance. The high capacity 4200mAh battery can last for up to 15 hours. A desk charger and a USB cable are included for recharging. It has a 2” LCD screen, that’s very useful for immediately reviewing video footage, without a computer.This body camera has some nice features, that I really like. It has night vision, motion detection, and a flashing SOS alarm feature. One of my favorite features is the GPS. The GPS feature elevates the capabilities of this body camera to the commercial grade level. It’s a very unique and powerful feature, that my other body camera doesn’t have.I can’t say with any certainty that this body camera is suitable for the specific needs of police officers, but it certainly seems to me to be suitable for use in private security, private investigations, or for personal security and protection. I worked in the private security industry for over 12 years, this body camera has more technological capabilities than any of the equipment that was available to me when I was working in the field. A body camera like this would have been very useful.It comes with all of the necessary accessories, including two different clips, that provide various options for different kinds of body wear. The camera can also be car mounted, if desired. It not only records video and audio, but it can also take pictures, as well. It can even take pictures while recording video. Recording and picture taking can be initiated with voice control, or with the push of a single button.The manual control buttons are slightly raised and adequately separated, the button positions are easy for me to quickly locate and remember. The voice control feature is reasonably reliable, but imperfect, inconsistent at times. I like that the manual control buttons are big and easy to locate, for those infrequent times when the voice control doesn’t immediately respond.The video quality is excellent, even in low light conditions, but the quality diminishes somewhat when video is shot while in motion. If shooting stable video while in motion is essential, you may want to explore other options, as well. This is certainly an excellent body camera, but the motion video isn’t as stable or viewable as video that’s shot while stationary is. The motion video is imperfect, it’s not terrible, but it could really benefit from better image stabilization.I’m using this body camera for personal security and protection, primarily when I walk or jog, and to document my public interactions. With crime and homelessness on the rise in my area, I can never be too careful. I also let my wife borrow it when she works at night, having the ability to check her GPS coordinates gives us both some degree of peace of mind.I’m very satisfied with the quality and the capabilities of this user friendly body camera. At just under $170, it’s perhaps a tad bit overpriced, but not by very much. I would consider this body camera to be a strong buy at around $150. If you’re looking for a user friendly body camera, packed with useful features and powerful capabilities, you’ve found it. Highly recommended!
