This scraper does what it describes. I used it on my stair carpet to remove stuck on hair and lint and it did the job well. It got up all those annoying hairs that my vacumm cannot seem to get up. I also used it around the edges of my carpets where the upright vacumm doesn't quite reach. I do use the small attachments but they are not as effective. It's very simple to use and best of all, no electricity! Good value considering you get two, great for now and again use. Unless you have a pet and then it would be invaluable!! You could have one upstairs and one down.

This carpet scraper is really sturdy - it'll probably last forever! It's also easy to use on carpets, lifting up dirt/dust that hoovers dont get, and it seems to lift the pile, making the carpet look new again (at least for a short while!).I wouldn't recommend using on clothes though - I tried, and straight away it was pulling fibres out. This isa great tool, but strictly for carpets only.

The item itself seems well made and seems as though it will do the job. The wooden handle is comfortable to hold.We tried it on carpets that were quite clean so it may have not been a fair test. however it did remove some debris and left the carpet looking good. We don’t have pets but I would imagine that it would be very useful to clear dog hair etc.It can be used in most situations eg. clothes, car seats, carpets etc and I would think work quite well.It is quite tiring to use and would probable only be used occasionally, but we are getting on in years.I would recommend at the price especially if you have pets.

Seriously.. don't buy this. It will destroy whatever you use it on . You are better off using An old cheese grater as it'll do less damage .. whoever invented these needs a slap

I’ve owned many of these in the past and needed new ones as over time the head does start to become clogged and less effective. They’re amazing at getting pet hair or general hair out of your carpet before you hoover up. It makes you feel a lot more satisfied with your carpet after. If you’ve never tried these before then you need too. They’re an absolute essential in my home. It will reduce smells in your carpet. The only downside is prolonged use of these can begin to pull the fibres out of your carpet which obviously isn’t ideal so it is important you’re gentle with it to prevent ruining your carpet. But still an absolute must for cleaning carpets.

I bought these because I was sick and tired of finding fluff and hairs on my carpets. The lint roller is good and does collect this but you definitely need to go in with a gentle hand so that it only picks up what it needs to and doesn’t take away the actual carpet with it. It’s a really useful purchase and I’ll definitely be using it a lot round the house

You can purchase these in singles or pairs, I ordered and received a pair. Both have been nicely made with real wood handles attached to a brass-coloured metal scraper, and they’ve performed as they should on the various carpets we have throughout our home. They do an effective job of removing animal hair, human hair, lint and any other fluff we see on our carpet. I find this tool especially useful for removing the dust and fluff that finds its way to the edges of the skirting boards and is often missed by our vacuum cleaner. I’ve also used this scraper (carefully) to remove lint from various canvas bags and clothing I own.I would just add that it’s best to use this scraper sparingly on your floor coverings because it will lift carpet fibres if used vigorously. It’s one of those tools that we now have hanging up in out utility area and will use from time to time…..
