LSI Logic SAS9211-8I 8PORT Int 6GB Sata+SAS Pcie 2.0

Installed on Asus Sabertooth Z77 motherboard in desktop case. Motherboard recognized an adapter without any issues in PCIe slot 2 and set x8 speed. Since this is a server-grade adapter it's better to have additional cooling provided to it. The hand can barely hold on the heatsink after working for only 15 min.Adapter works very well supporting 4,6 and 10TB WD Red drives. Flashed it to IT mode and latest firmware in UEFI shell (instructions are easy to find in google). Linux Debian 9 hot swap works as expected, not throwing errors nor exceptions to the kernel. Tested with Windows7, works OK.

Bought it for an Unraid server and have to say after flashing a new firmware thee card offers great performance for up to 8 SATA drives. Can only recommend it if you are looking for a similar use case.
