D.R. Harris Almond Shaving Soap Refill

I bought an arlington puck and tried it for a month to see if I liked the scent and found that the performance was top notch, but I didn't love the fragrance. So, I picked up a puck of Almond as I had read it was their lightest scent, and I am very happy with it. DR Harris soaps do not bother my skin like a lot of other soaps (to include Cella, B&M, WSP, and Nivea Sensitive Cream), and DR Harris soaps leave my skin moisturized. I use a couple of drops of pre-shave oil (avocado straight up) and then lather up my Pro 48 brush and get fantastic shaves every time with a Merkur 38C and Derby green blades. The Arlington barely looked used after a month of daily shaves.a little tip to save money on a shave mug - I took the puck over to my local Thrift store and dropped the puck into a few of the coffee mugs. I found one from Martha Stewart that it worked great in and it cost me one whole American dollar. :) Don't waste your money on the fancy wooden bowl or one of the expensive apothecary style mugs.I've tried nearly every soap out there since 2011 to include WSP, B&M, Captains Choice (my second favorite these are very good), Arko (cheap ingredients but works great for me), MWF, Cella, Proraso, Tabac, L'Occitan Cade, and others. DR Harris lather is thick and actually moisturizes my usually very sensitive skin.

Not a fan of the scent I expected more of a jergins type almond cherry scent and that's not at all how this smells the product works fine just don't care for the scent

This shaving soap is great, it makes me look forward to shaving in the morning.

Great shaving soap, very little odor which is what I like. This is my 2nd shaving soap since switching from a can and I like it better. Seems to last much longer than the Col. Conks soap. I still have a lot left and will be trying several others before I find the one I hope. This product does give me slight irritation, but I believe this is just my sensitive skin.

I'm usually a cream guy, but I like to delve into soaps on occasion.This soap lathers quite easily, even in my super hard water. It smells nice, especially if you don't like anything too heavily scented. Cushion and slide are decent, but not like Mitchells Wool Fat. Still, for the price and quality, I'd recommend it to any soap user.
