This table looks nice and works great. The lift-top is smooth and really useful for my living room! . I love the hidden storage and the open shelves for books , my cookies , vitamins or decor, super smart design to keep the tabletop clean ! It feels strong and was easy to put together. Love it!

I took a "risk" on this with only 3-4 reviews when I bought it. I am glad - I really wanted something simple and functional that didn't look too cheap.Pros -* Looks much better than other lift top coffee tables that were ~$100* Has a much more tasteful fake wood pattern than some of the other ones* Measurements were trueNeutral -* You definitely need to use both hands to lift the top. Not because it is hard to lift just because it's very easy to only lift one side and I don't think this table is durable enough for that kind of abuse* Based on other experiences with this type of furniture I would never let anyone put a glass down without a coaster. Luckily there is a storage shelf under the closed storage, this is where I store coasters for easy accessCons -* More of a personal failing than a product failing but really pay attention when you are putting together the table. It all worked out for me nicely regardless.Tips for assembly:- Everything is nicely labeled so pay attention to those! I made the mistake of mixing up the E and Bp screws which look similar but are different sizes and I had to go back and undo that part.- Hand screw the screws in. Luckily I hand screwed everything and the mistake was fixable. If I used an electric drill/driver I think I might have ruined the pilot holes and not been able to use them.- Another tricky part was the hinges for the lift top, check and double check your top is in the right orientation first!Anyway, happily surprised at this coffee table for the price. It looks good for now and when I do find the perfect piece come up on a secondhand market I think it will be easy to resell or give away on Buy Nothing.

The coffee table itself is nice and functional but the color is like a natural oak or ashy...not pine like the walls in our sun room. Oh well. We will still use it!We like the size and the space it has for storage.

Sorry, but here are the reasons why I do not like this coffee table.1) Kinda tricky to put together. Took over two hours for my buddy & i to do so.2) The lift-top lid wobbles as it is in motion. And Lord have mercy, any items that are not properly placed on top will throw off the balance and cause that heavier side to drop first.3) The color is not a bright, cherry oak wood grain that I had seen in the ad, but rather an overcast, dingy ash color,4) And at $140, it’s overpriced. I could find similar coffee tables on here at half the price.

Got it to match the TV stand I had. It’s not hard to assemble and it has ample storage to hide my random stuffs so my living room looks tidy and clean.
