Love this game - Anybody who has ever even mildly listened to music of same era can easily participate in this game and have fun. It's one of the few knowledge games where no-one has a true competitive advantage due to the clever game design. Great game to set a party alight or even for a couple's night in.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This game combines trivia with music, what can be better? My family and I like to play games, the Meta Game with the timeline is one of our favorites. Now that we found Hitster, we have two games we can get everyone to agree on and know we all will enjoy it. Because it is a music game, you will need a smartphone or tablet with an Internet connection, it is a requirement for the game. Once you are playing, you have several different ways to play. Our favorite is timeline where you play the song and guess what year it was released. If you can guess the name of the song and the artist, you win a token which you can trade in for a new point. The game comes with songs from Big Band to Jazz to Hip Hop and years that range from 1920s to 2020 so it really is fun for all ages and all tastes. It has expansion packs available, but we haven't tried those yet.
