System Three EndRot Repair Kit, Natural

This can help save you from having to make time consuming, costly repairs, but only on a small scale with this kit. This is basically a sample kit of many products. You can buy all of these in much bigger quantities here on Amazon and at other stores. This allowed me to try out all of those products without having to buy hundreds of dollars of questionable things though. The Tim Bor is used to kill the fungus and bugs before you harden and fill the wood. You apply the Tim Bor and let it dry for a few days. It will setup a coating that will supposedly continue to kill any rot fungus, bugs, or whatever else tries to eat your wood. The wood hardener epoxy soaks into the wood and helps harden it to almost a rock solid base. It also supposedly contains stuff to continue to kill fungus and bugs. It sets up pretty quick so only mix what you're going to use, but with this kit you'll probably be using it all immediately. It soaks in pretty good on my deck so it didn't go as far as I thought it would but it worked great. The Bor 8 Rods are there to prevent bugs or rot from attacking also. They sit in the wood in drilled holes and if they get wet they dissolve over years and help treat the wood. The filler does just that. It fills the wood and leaves a sandable base to paint. I doubt you could stain this and have it look like wood but it paints easily enough. I was very happy with this product. It only fixed a length of deck railing about 1.5 to 2 feet long, with a rotted area about 2 to 3 inches wide and 1 inch or less deep. This kit won't go far but you can use it to see if you like the rest of the products and then buy them in bulk to save money, don't buy a lot of these kits!!

This product is amazing. I was able to repair rotted wood in. Several places. Sands easily and accepts paint. You won’t be disappointed.

I got this kit to try on one of five dry-rotted exposed beams. It includes borate power, wood preserver and expoxy (two 8oz tubs). No documentation was included, however, and it was very inconvenient to have to rely on their YouTube video to learn how to use it. Thankfully the process is easy to follow and the results are fantastic! I was so pleased that I ordered two extra quarts of expoxy. All beams now look like new.

This kit allowed me to repair rotted cedar siding where the vertical boards meet the deck at the back of my house. This is on the north side of the house, so it is always in shade and and stays damp too long after rains. The kit is easy to use and the repairs look a lot like the original siding after painting. Perfect solution to an otherwise expensive repair.

This product worked great! When finished, it dried solid as a rock. Sanded out smoothly and finished nicely. Great product!

This a pretty comprehensive kit and was adequate for the amount of rot I found. It works as advertised and was easy to use. I was happy with my purchase.

Great stuff, have used before and for the most part is has held up well. I have one complaint, but not sure whose fault it is. This package was supposed to contain 6 borate rods. There were none in the box. Was this is a returned item? Or was it an oversight by the manufacturer. I now ordered the rods elsewhere.
