this worked better as a shower chair, tbh - it's very sturdy and super nice for using as an assisted chair, but as a toilet seat it leaves a bit to be desired due to a general messiness issue from the open gap it leaves. might be better for some people or genders... It is very sturdy and very easy to assemble and many people will love it I'm sureused ours for the week or two that it was needed, lent it to a neighbor who never used it and now it's off to Goodwill to hopefully benefit someone else.

This is solid and has worked well for my 6’4”, 275 lb husband as both a toilet and a shower seat.

I will start with the positives.The padded seat is very comfortable, even when you have to sit there for awhile. 😬Having had to use a few different commodes in the hospital, I feel this commode is sturdier than those in general.I didn’t have to worry about it tipping if I leaned on handle.However, I had an issue with a clamp that attaches seat to frame.When I would lean forward, one clasp in back would pull off, which means the seat had just become unattached. If that had happened on both sides, I could have ended up face down on the floor.I haven’t had it long enough to notice any issues with feet coming apart as some have mentioned.So with the seat not being secure, I have to return, but will buy this one again. The other clamps are tight so maybe's just a fluke.

Easy to put together. Easy to clean, east to remove.About 3-4” higher than my toilet seat, made it easy to use after knee replacement.Simply pick it up and move it so others could use toilet unencumbered by my temporary disability.I can’t recommend it enough.

I am terrible at assembling items. I have no intuitive sense that this part fits into that one. This item was easy to assemble with very clear instructions and illustrations and the parts labeled with letters so end A fits into B, etc. Even I was able to easily assemble it without the usual frustration. This has an adjustable width which I appreciated and needed to set at the smallest width. Although it appears that there is a larger area between the sink and the shower, the toilet is not centered within that area and the toilet paper holder sticks out. Obviously the seat has to be centered over the toilet so it is actually a much smaller space to the toilet paper holder. This is for a family member and hasn’t been used yet but I did sit on it and used it for support in getting up and it appears to be very sturdy.

My mom had so much trouble getting on and off the toilet, this is perfect for her, she loves it. Super easy to assemble, comfortable firm seat, perfect height width over an ADA size toilet and very sturdy.Very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend.

This product should be used by every elderly person (like me). It is well made, adjustable and comfortable
