I got this for my 8yo daughter and she absolutely loves it! We were able to craft it together and the instructions were clear. However, I'm knowledgeable in crochet and other crafts and I can see how this could be difficult for someone who doesn't have prior knowledge or experience. But all in all, a super fun activity.

Bought this for my 7 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She loves it. Perfect for her age.

This turned out super cute and the directions were easy to follow, but I think it is more advanced than the age range specified in the description. We have no crochet experience, but both my 5 and 8 year olds struggled with it. It ultimately ended up and a craft for me to complete and them to show off. Also, the video showed a purse with two magnetic closures and my paper directions only showed one, which is what came in my kit. The one closure it really hard to get to stay in the middle of the bag with all the bulky yarn. I think it’s much more practical to have a closure on each side as the video displays.

I was really excited about this product—it looked like such a fun idea! 🎉 But it ended up being a little more challenging for my 10 year old daughters than I expected. With some extra help and patience, they still enjoyed it, but it might not be as beginner-friendly as it seems. 😊

This is a great craft for 8-12 year olds. This project took my 9 year old a couple of evenings to complete. It does take patience to get through, but breaking up the time was nice to keep her busy multiple evenings! This will be a nice craft for us to gift to friends her age and it feels sturdy! She is already enjoying using it as an accessory.

Having children that see their parents being Crafty and wanting to be just like them. This beginner set was easy for my daughter to follow the instructions and figure out how to make her purse. She absolutely loves it and told me she had a lot of fun doing it on her own!
