Good flavor. Very well sealed individual strips. A bit peppery for my taste but that could be a bonus if you like a lot of black pepper. Not too tough or too dry. You definitely need something to drink it with. Excellent snack with a drink.

These are normally moist and delicious. This seller sent me ones very close to expiration. They’re hard as rocks and inedible. Look at the meat and how much it shrank in the packaging.these are also expensive and I bought 5 boxes. The salmon ones are even worse. Expire in feb and are so dry you can’t eat them.

When these are fresh they are great. Unfortunately you can tell these were either stale or not stored properly. They were very dry and hard compared to the ones I buy at the store that are moist and softer textured.

So I started ordering the bison and boar bars a while ago and loved them so I was expecting the texture it has which is I suppose the only plus. Let me say I really love black pepper. I put so much in my food it ends up mostly black so.. I'm a pepper fan. This has so much effing pepper in it that I was sweating through my hair. It is an overbearing, disturbingly pure peppery flavor that left me uncomfortably moist and regretful. It suggests that there is more sea salt than pepper in the ingredient line up but I don't see how that can possibly be the case. The salt exists but is only there to be body slammed by pepper. so purchase at your own risk. We're speculating that it says the other meat is beef but it's probably that Spice Weasel from Futurama. If you want to know what the jerky version of Spice Weasel would taste like, go for it. But I'm not going to be ordering these again. I can't rate the flavor lower than a four because that's uh.... That's the flavor I purchased so they did it but it's kind of a nightmare. There is apparently such a thing as too much pepper.

These are AMAZING!!! A tad on the salty side, but it's Venison & there's only a few key ingredients. Unlike other reviewers I actually took comfort in seeing tiny bits of white fat knowing it was good meat full of essential omegas. I bought these for protein on a road trip & am hoping I don't eat them all before the trip begins!

Pros: box is nice Cons: plastic packaging is very hard to open the jerky doesn't taste like anything but pepper very greasy has a slight metallic taste somewhat gritty (if you have fill-ins it does not feel good at all, like chewing on tin foil) In Conclusion: I was excited about this jerky. BOY was I wrong, when it came and i saw the box I was impressed it looks very good for a jerky box. As I open the box and tried to open one of the sticks i was shocked as I couldn't open it and had to use a knife. The jerky smells very strongly of pepper (almost overwhelming). It taste like nothing but pepper and metal covered and a layer a fat. I ordered this and the Wagyu Beef ones and those are still coming and I'm not so excited about it anymore.
