Inc. Jumbo Owl Pellets, Pack of 5, with Bone Sorting Sheet

Although they were still really cool, they were significantly smaller than advertised. Didn’t exceed the length of 2 Canadian quarters. From the 5 pellets, there were only 2 skulls. From reading other reviews, there seems to be significant inconsistencies in what customers receive. Won’t be purchasing again, but was still fun.

These owl pellets were PERFECT for my sons science fair!! We ordered three packs of them thinking each of the 3 boys in his group would want/need 5 each to get great results. We could have EASILY gotten away with 2 packs. Each pellet was filled with skulls and bones. The kids had so much fun!! There is a little bit of a smell to them but the boys didn’t care (I mean, it’s literally dead animals) 🤷‍♀️. I work for a science company and these were bigger than the ones we order for kids in our program. If you are questioning which pellets to get, get these!! The bone identification worksheet was great also. The pictures are of the biggest full skull the boys got as well as all the skulls from just 2 packs of 5. So fun!!

I got these as an activity I could do with my girlfriend and her 10 year old son. We had a blast dissecting these last night! It's basically a ball of fur and you pick it apart to find all sorts of little bones and skulls. In mine I found two decent sized rodent skulls with the mandibles lots a little pelvises and femurs. They don't stink they just have a very earthy dirt like smell. We had a lot of fun picking them apart and looking at all the little bones. Excellent value for the money. The quality and packaging was excellent. They're easy to pick apart but it takes about 20 to 30 minutes to really go through one so you get a lot of time for the money.

I bought a 6 pack of owl pellets to dissect with my students. These were absolutely amazing to take apart! Some of the pellets had up to 7 complete skulls in them! Totally cool, very interesting and I will absolutely be purchasing these again when we need more! Thank you!

My kids loved picking through these although they broke a lot of pieces as we didn’t know we’d need special tools to get the little bones out. Would be nice if it came with instructions on how to remove easier or a few tools to help.
