You can just set the alarm setting very high so it will never go off. Mine is set to like 140 degrees. So if that goes off we have a bigger problem.

Yes. You can set a set point with a range. Say you want it at 65% humidity. You set it to 65% with a variance of you’re choice. Say 3%. So if it goes down to 62% it will turn in the humidifier until it reaches 65%. If it goes up to 68% it will turn on a dehumidifier.

Q: Can i use this with a swamp cooler to maintain the humidity in a room?

Hello, Please note that the humidifier/dehumidifier must meet the following conditions: 1. The power is within the range of 100-240V, 10A; 2. It can be turned on automatically after power on; 3. No built-in humidity control/built-in humidity control will not affect IHC-200 control; 4. The target humidity can be reached when working alone; As long as these conditions are met, they can be used together. Thank you.
