E27 Standard LED Light Bulb – 100 W Warm White Frosted Glass Dimmable – Glass

I like to have a lot of light in my hobby room and was looking for a 100W equivalent standard size Edison screw ES lamp. Initially I bought a set of cheap ones, but they didn't last. I figured spend a little more money and get a decent make. Philips have been around forever so I bought one of these. Dims even at the very first part of the dimmer and gets super-super bright at full blast, if I could give it 6 stars for bright ness would (its maybe a little too much for the room, but I can just turn the dimmer down a touch). Time will tell on longevity but this is a well built quality item as you would expect from Philips and I expect it will last well. Definitely recommended.

I mostly buy Philips bulbs because they always last me a long time and give good quality light. I really like these specific bulbs because they become warmer yellow light as they dim - just like the old fillament bulbs did. I also find Philips LED bulbs are compatible with the widest range of dimmers. However, if a dimmer wasn't made for LED bulbs you may still run in to issues using it, it's just less likely with Philips bulbs. I marked them 4 out of 5 for energy efficiency because there's now ultra efficient LED bulbs available. Realistically though, all LED bulbs use modest amounts of electricity, and these ones have features (dimmable and warm glow) that the ultra efficient ones don't have yet, so they're still worth buying.

Nice and bright.

Phillips LED bulbs provide a better quality of light in this case a warm white that mimics traditional tungsten well and has similar colour rendering. They also offer great control from LED dimmers allowing the bulb to dim to low levels, not always seen on other manufacturers . Best of the bunch.

This bulb just has the edge on other cheaper LED bulbs casting warmth to the room and dimmable to i recommend.

The bulbs have been fitted on a dimmer circuit and they dimmed correctly. I have tried other bulbs claiming to be dimmable, these are first E27 bulbs to successfully dim smoothly from zero light to full brightness, steady light at all levels with no flicker. Excellent product.
