Cystex Plus Urinary Pain Relief Tablets

I'm a 23 year old male and i just got my first UTI a couple of months ago. I used this combined with home remedies and it seemed to go away at first but my UTI came back with vengeance five months later. Now I'm only taking this to keep the infection under control until my next doctors appointment. This product is a life saver! If you don't get something to control the infection it could spread to your blood system (if not treated) and kill you. And this product contains methenamine, an effective antibiotic which does keep the infection under control until you get doctor prescribed medication to cure it. Its also a great pain reliever. Don't worry, this product isn't that much addictive compared to other antibiotics but remember that addictions vary from person to person. It also doesn't turn your urine a strange bright color like other UTI products do. Be sure to drink plenty of water when using this product. Don't drink things like milk shakes or other beverages high in sugar when you have a UTI. I learned that the hard way. I was hooked on those Ensure vanilla nutrition shakes and it only made my UTI more painful even when I wasn't going to the bathroom. Another good thing about this product is that it also keeps the infection away from the kidneys so you don't a get fever or back pain where your kidneys are. Someday I hope they developed an over the counter cure for UTIs to eliminate embarrassing doctor visits.

I bought this exact bottle/qty from this seller in 2013. Paid $10.70 for 100 tabs. Was interested in purchasing another bottle, but the price has almost tripled through this seller. What's up with that!? Will look elsewhere. I can't take antibiotics, but am trying to get rid of a bladder infection. I've been taking these pills and a number of other natural treatments, but can't seem to kick this thing. So, no, these pills aren't a magic bullet, but I think maybe they are keeping the infection from worsening, until something hopefully kills it. Don't know what else to do but keep trying.

ive been using it for over a year now and it's the only product that PREVENTS and provides fast pain relief. remember you have to drink plenty of water when you're taking it or else it wont work at its full strenght. whenever i feel the smallest burning sensation after intercourse i take 2 pills and i can forget about it. i used to pay regular visits to my doctor because of UTI, about once a week, to get pain meds and atibiotics. whenever the pain is really bad that i cannot sleep at night or walk, i take 1 cystex +1 azo. cystex is an antebacterial that works long term, it actually heals the uti. while not being as fast acting as azo, it still gives relief. it depends from person to person. cystex takes about an hour to stop the pain, azo works in about 15 minutes, still azo does't prevent or cure uti so using them as a combo when the pain is the worst is not a bad idea.UPDATE: after taking cystex for about 2 years my chronic uti is gone. no burning, no itching, no nothing after intercourse anymore. i used to get uti weekly or more often, because of intercourse, panty liners or pads when on period. now they're completely gone and didnt come back for few months now

The one thing I really like about ordering this product from Amazon, is it comes in a bottle. I used Cystex pretty frequently, and the pop out tabs from Walmart were getting pretty annoying. Plus you get more for your money ordering the 100 ct here. I get a lot of starting feelings of a UTI throughout the month, I take Cystex and it helps get rid of them. I alternate between these and D-Mannose usually. Better than going to the doctor and getting antibiotics constantly.

This product is good and I like it, however the price keeps going up just like many other things once they notice it is selling and get greedy. I am seeking a generic brand of this product so that I can lower my out of pocket expenses. I am a man and do use this product, it really does help when you are exposed to bacteria in your system. I will seek an alternative if price does not lower back to the acceptable range it was at previously or seek another store that sells at the lower price.

I take this in conjuction with Cystex Cranberry liquid. After a maddening string of 9 UTI's in about 16 months, I found these two products. Since sexual activity seemed to be the main trigger, I take these pills after any intimacy, and keep taking them for 12-48 hours, until any residual soreness is gone. I also take the Cranberry Liquid one to three times per day, depending on my symptoms. I have not had any repeat infections since beginning this "double-team" regimen.

I have taken to using Cystex regularly. My mother recommended this to me since she, my sister, and myself tend to get UTIs really frequently. I used to just take them when I could feel a UTI coming on (burning sensation), but I've started taking them daily as a preventative measure since it's a lot easier and less painful than getting a full-blown UTI. I generally take one or two a day, unless I feel a UTI coming on and then I will up the dosage.As a comparison, I've tried the D-Mannose from Now Foods since it had such stellar reviews, but it did not seem to work for me as well as Cystex did. I got a UTI while taking the D-Mannose, so I switched back to Cystex and have been loyal to them ever since.For women who suffer from UTIs like I do, I would recommend Cystex hands down. You can use it if you already have early UTI symptoms, but I really recommend taking it regularly as a preventative treatment.

During a particularly ugly UTI, I searched for a healthy way to reduce the discomfort and found Cystex Cystex Antibacterial & Analgesic Urinary Pain Relief Tablets, 100CT . The reviews and product description made it sound ideal. When I received it in the mail, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Unfortunately it was of ZERO help. It didn't help with my discomfort at all. I went back to using what I bought at the pharmacy. Was not worth the money at all.
