Great product, no problems.
Excellent product. Shipped quickly amd got it on time. Only downside was the box itself was damaged. Putting the support slats was challenging, but otherwise the bed went together with ease. Got the dark blue and my grandson loves it. The bed is super sturdy. Would definitely buy again if the need arose.

Sturdy, nice looking bunk bed
Very pleased with this purchase. It’s a great quality bed, very sturdy with solid construction. We used twin extra long mattresses for the bunk and a regular twin mattress for the trundle. Grandkids love it.

Good quality bed, horrible smell!
Very sturdy construction. Easy to understand instructions, easy build….just time consuming. Can do alone until needing to stack the beds, then you need a second person. Only two complaints…..the bed gives off a horribly strong chemical/paint smell. I had a horrible headache from the smell while building it. Thought it’d fade after the first day but it’s now day 3 and my kids room still smells strong from it even with fans and good air circulation. Second draw back is some pieces have very thin paint and is more a white wash and can see the natural wood color under instead of a solid white while others have full thick coverage. But once fully built its hard to tell unless your inspecting it up close with good lighting so not a huge deal. Overall, happy with the bed. Kids love it. Just hoping smell goes away!

Amazing Quality, Crazy Value, Would recommend
I ordered the twin-over-twin with Trundle bunk bed in Walnut. Let me say to anyone looking for a quick review, this bed is amazing. The quality of the hardware and wood was above my expectations, then if you factor in the price, it’s also an amazing deal. Assembly: When I was researching this bed, this is probably where I saw the most negative comments. This bed takes time to put together, if you know that going into it set the right expectation then I think 90% of the complaints about assembly would be resolved. If you have a piece that is misaligned, try another identical piece to see if it fits better. Quality: This bed has a steel bar underneath the planks on both bunks. The bed is rated for 400lbs per bunk. The bed it was replacing from Ikea paled in comparison. The beds can be separated to make two twin size beds. The wood is solid wood that was stained not vinyl covered, I was very impressed. The design is very modular and very thoughtful, you can reverse or remove certain rails or sections to convert the bed into whatever orientation you would like. Negative: The only criticism I have, is the ladder has some screws that hold mounts to it, that connect it to the bed. Those screw holes needed to be either larger or deeper. The ladder began to split when I was tightening them down. I checked to see if the instructions said to drill out pilot holes. In the end I didn’t use all the screws because the ladder would have just split. Trundle: I have an 8” twin mattress on the trundle and it just barely fits underneath the bed. You wouldn’t be able to slide a made bed underneath unless you went with a 6” mattress. All in all, no big deal, but just to note. I also just want to say I was very impressed with the packaging of my bed. I was really concerned about broken parts and was anxious about inspecting it when it arrived. But it was perfect, Great Product!

Questionable Quality -- huge crack in 3months!
UPDATED REVIEW: 8months in after purchase. I have contacted amazon and manufacturer as soon as crack was found. First person at Amazon who i spoke to was sympathetic and seemed understanding and was going to help. Until she transferred me. This next CS lady was abrupt and adamant and kept repeating that we are past return period. I kept explaining that we had all intention of keeping the bed but could not now, after seeing the large crack just 3months in. After a long while of back and forth and a whole lot of frustration, she said that we have to use the manufacturer's warranty and that she will contact manufacturer. Well, until now no word. I will pick up on this complaint again and make another attempt. Will update accordingly... ORIGINAL REVIEW: We were initially quite happy about this purchase. It was more expensive than others but we wanted to get the highest weight capacity we could find @400lbs so we wouldn't have to worry as our child grows and it could last us a good, long while with no worries and issues. We only have one 3.5yo son who uses only the lower bunk, and only gets on the top bunk seldomly to rotate books from his wall bookshelf above. The 2nd bunk was intended as extra bed. Assembly was easy enough though highly recommend 2people because of the liftings. Pieces were properly labelled and the whole setting up was uneventful and went quite smoothly for my husband and i. HOWEVER, 3months in and one morning as i was cuddling with my son in the lower bunk (I am petite at 110-112lbs), i spied what looked to be a pretty large hairline crack in the support piece that runs the entire length of one side of the bed, near one of the screws. I am flabbergasted as this bed is still fairly new at 3 months, very lightly used as only a 37lb boy who only sticks to the bottom bunk uses it, and very rarely goes to the top. I weigh 110 lbs, and have gone up there 2-3times to install the wall bookshelves and put in sheets. Nobody has slept in that top bunk as yet. My son has 3/4yo friends who weigh just as much as he does at approx 40lbs, and we have done a few playdates where we enforce the rule of absolutely no rough play on that top bunk. Even if at a time they all went up there to look at books and do pretend play, that should not have caused a crack as their weight collectively would only be about 120 and the weight limit of each bunk should be 400lbs! His 4yo cousin weighing 45lbs has only gone up to the top bunk only about a handful of times total to play pretend games as well.. My husband has never even gone on that top bunk and even he weighs only 170-180lbs (he is the heaviest in our household). Even if he snuck a quick climb (like he would), absolutely no way we ever went close to the bed limit of 400lbs. Absolutely NO WAY. Safety is always a top concern for us and that is why even with the raised top railings, we've trained our kid to sleep in the lower bunk until he gets older. If the weight limit of the bed is truly 400lbs, there should be no reason for a large hairline crack like this. I will try to reach out to amazon and the seller/manufacturer about this crack and will update this review as we go along. Hopefully their customer service is good (cross fingers!)

Great quality sturdy bunk bed
Kids love it. It’s beautiful. Sturdy wood. Looks great and a great option for kids to grow into and multiple sleeping options. My husband said the directions were awful though. He put it together by himself and said the directions need to be better. Took him 4-5 hours and he used other tools than what it said to make sure everything was secured tightly. Awkward spacing between the wooden slats that hold the mattress. Wish they were closer together but overall solid bunk bed that we hope to keep for years and then can separate as stand alone beds. We have a full mattress that’s 8” with a latex topper (2”) on top both mattresses & there is plenty of room left with the railing on top for plenty of safety.

Lasted 5 years
After 5 years, I’m finally writing a review about this bed. Pros: it lasted 5 years. I think that’s pretty decent. It was perfect for our 3 girls and moving rooms multiple times etc. there are a lot of configuration options. We’ve done full bunk with trundle. We’ve done the top bunk as a twin on its own in one room, and the full and trundle in another room, and done the twin with trundle in one room and full in another. I love that it lasted us longer because of that. Cons: while it lasted 5 years, it’s loooking pretty rough, multiple broken boards, the materials are pretty cheap. We had some cracks from the start after assembling when screwing things too tightly. The slats that lay across the bottom are weak, and some came with knots in them that weakened them more. Once, my mom (who maybe weighs 130lbs) sat down on the full with my daughter and one of the boards completely split in half. This week, the metal pole that supports all the boards completely bent almost to the ground, and we can no longer push the trundle in. Had to finally order some new bed frames. All in all, for the price, I’m really happy with 5 years. However, you get what you pay for.
