EAU62043401(EAU62043403) Replacing for LG EAU60710801 (OEM) Part

Installed this a couple weeks ago and have run a few loads of dishes so far. It’s quieter and cleans better than the old one, which might have been a sign the old one was not working. Easy to install, just remember to move the gasket from the old pump to the new one. Took 2 people to twist the old pump off the housing because it was tight, but not difficult. Much better value than paying twice as much to get a new housing - just need this to replace the pump.

Fixed the OE message on my LG Dishwasher. Pretty self explanatory with some YouTube tutorials. BUT don’t make the same mistake that I did and turn a 15 minute install into a 1 hour project. MAKE SURE you take the o-ring off the old motor to put on the new one. It will not weak properly without it and water will rush out everywhere. Definitely fixed my issue and it was a great price. My dishes seem to be cleaner after install as well.

This is not a genuine LG pump, knockoff package and labels. Need to use the dishwasher so can’t return but I hate being scammed

Got code E1. Checked the drain tubing for obstructions and found none. Pulled this part out of my machine and found it wrapped in hair. Attached a 9V battery to the terminals and it wouldn't spin. Also couldn't force it to spin with a current applied. That's when I knew this was the problem part. Received within 48 hours and we are back in business.

The LG dishwasher I have is notorious for chewing through these motors. Just an FYI, if your dishwasher has a Fast cycle mode, never use it. This is the mode I believe cooks these motors. Always use one of the normal modes. Anyway, the install is simple since the motor is in front-left at the bottom kick plate. You remove the motor rubber mount and press in a plastic tab with a screwdriver, then unscrew the old one. Be sure to save and reuse the black o-ring from the old motor. Then screw the one on. Took about 10 minutes and good as new. This motor is cheaper than the original and I am sure in 3 years I will be replacing again. Thanks LG.

After installing this thing it sounded and acted liked a cyclone in all the right ways.. the way this thing sucked the water out was way more powerful than the original motor I replaced. My original motor DID turn on and drain but not fast enough and would give us a drain failure code because all of the water did not leave... this motor solved it.

LG does not make their appliances owner repair friendly. The dishwasher was an absolute pain to replace the hoses and a simple pump. Will never buy LG again. Plus the pump had a small burr in the seal ring area causing leakage. Had to remove unit to find and shave off the burr. Where's the quality control?

Prefect fit, easy to install. I don't remember our dishwasher being this quiet.
