Great distributor
*Edit* the seller sent me an updated replacement that is a true 58.5 mm distributor. It works perfectly, and I have no issues with it. This is exactly what I was hoping for after using the 54.3 mm one.*** I got the 54 mm one on Amazon Vine for my Barista Express, which I have reviewed and I was very impressed with. I have decided to also get the 58 mm one for my Breville Dual Boiler - this one I actually paid for - and I am more than disappointed. First, the fit is not as tight as the 54 in one, it says that it's 58.5 in but I highly doubt it! The coffee grounds will slide on the sides, an issue I did not have with the smaller one. Also, the small one slides out slowly, this one drops down very quickly. I will be looking for a better 58 mm gravity tamper soon.

High amount of grounds sticking to the surface
The grounds really do stick to this distributor a lot. I wound up returning for the newer model, which was created for this very reason I assume

It works and I’m using it at this point.
It works. I have some quibbles, but it does make for a nice even bed before tamping. It feels nicely made and has a good feel. The wood is attractive. People see me use it and think it’s fancy and elite. The problem is, I don’t know if I will keep using it going forward. My quibbles are that grounds stick to it more than I would like, and more than I think they should. The grounds that fit between the shank and sides of the basket stick and need to be cleaned off. There’s usually a couple areas of grounds stuck to the face on either side of the point. It’s significant and it’s not. I sometimes brush them into the basket, and there goes your pretty prepared surface. Sometimes it goes into the trash, but then I shrank the dose and wasted good coffee. Either way, I have to take time and attention to lift it up in a particular way so the point stays down, wipe the sides, wipe the face and put it away. It’s slightly awkward and you can’t just give it a quick wipe like you would a tamper.

Beautiful Gravity Distributor
Fell in love with this black and wood gravity distributor first time I saw it. Aesthetics aside, it distributes the coffee well though I do note the groove it leaves afterwards that the other customers were saying. Nonetheless, I don't have any issues with it. It fits my Breville 58mm portafilter perfectly.

Coffee sticks to it badly
Reason for the 3 stars missing, coffee sticks to it badly. Everytime I use it, I have to wipe off the grinds back into my basket because I’m sure it’s a few grams worth. If I didn’t, it would be a pile of grounds in the holder I place it in. I love the walnut wood and is design. It’s exactly why I’m switching all my coffee gear to Normcore if they keep adding more like this. I’ve been messaging them about the walnut tamper that looked just like this tool but sadly didn’t get it cause it took too long to come out. I really wish I could understand why it does this since they had to have tested this. Maybe I need to wash mine? Who knows. Hopefully normcore responds.

Works but flawed
Espresso grounds stick to the bottom.

Really wanted to like this
I love all of my normcore products and was excited to see that they dropped this gravity distributor tool. But after using it for about a month the performance is no where I'd expect. Typical prep has been WDT, distributor, then tamp. Unfortunately, this tool causes the grinds to clung to the sides and makes the action extremely resistant, as well as taking it off. I'm going back to my cheap Amazon distributor.
