I got this for my dog because I dislike the "Cone of Shame". This looks like a travel pillow, but has loops inside for the collar. My dog doesn't seem to mind wearing it, and even uses it as a pillow.

Hard to inflate but better than the cone from the vet.

Would be great but the fabric ripped after just a few days and 2 out of 3 of the straps that are meant to hold the collar have also ripped.

This worked great for our big lab/pit mix but make sure you use the collar straps because alone, the material is a bit slippery and she got it off despite being as tight as we could go without strangling her. LOL With the collar straps it stays on and she loves it so much better than the regular cone collars. I had another one from a different company but the balloon insert busted and so we had to get another. This fit the bill. It washed great and is holding up! I think she really likes just having her own personal pillow?! Our Golden "Emma" has a hot spot on her hind end. This Collar *mostly* works. It's above her right hip but not visible in the photo, and sadly she can still reach it, though not as easily. This will work great for any hot spots closer to the head. She doesn't seem to mind carrying around this pillow, and it doesn't interfere with eating or her visibility l like a cone would.It was a little tough to inflate, and the bite valve was hard to get to.

Let's start with the good stuff. It's super soft, easy to inflate and fit like a charm around my Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie). She has a sore that needs to heal without her constantly licking it or scratching it. For that purpose, it does work. HOWEVER... my little dog is smart and was able to easily wiggle her way out of it.. (insert sad face). But, it is a great collar!!Update, when she last wiggled out of it, I realized there’s a couple loops inside so I slid her regular collar through one of the loops and now she can’t wiggle out of it. I really need these sores to heal so hopefully we can keep it locked on long enough for them to do just that.

This is one of those items you hope never to need, but wow, it sure beats the "cone of shame" if you do! I like that it comes with a removable fabric cover that protects the inflatable insert and allows for easy washing. The velcro closure holds securely. There are loops along the inner edge to attach it to your dog's regular collar. Fully inflated, I didn't feel any rough edges in the inflatable that could cause irritation on your dog's neck. I ordered this one to keep on hand with the dogs' first aid supplies.My model was a good sport about trying it on for long enough to get a picture. Such a good boy!

The donut is made of a soft outside material, measures to size, and is easily inflatable. When I first saw it, it looked too small for her, till I put it on her, and it fit perfect. This is so much better than those cone shaped things. She's having surgery coming up and I wanted to get it in time. I'll add more after the surgery to see how she does with it then. But so far, I'm very happy with this product for her.
