Cutters - Xuron Track Cutter - Vertical Track Cutter 2175M

I bought these on a recommendation from another model railroader. Now that I am finally able to work on my layout, these are perfect for cutting flex track and for trimming plastic parts. I don’t know how I would have managed without them.

These make cutting flex track a breeze. Nice and accurate. Clean cut. Needs a bit of clean up with file but any cutter will. Very satisfied.

Purchased this set of Xuron cutters to replace a 20+ year old set of Xuron cutters that I used on at least three previous HO Scale Train Layouts. Actually, the old set are still in good condition but, I'm building another layout and need a new set to make sure the work goes smoothly. These cutters will work well for a long time if they're not abused and trying to cut hardened steel or hard alloys. They are perfect for smooth and fast cuts on HO scale track. Price point was good, was properly packaged, arrived in good condition, shipment was very prompt.

Cutters are compact but strong enough at the same time.

Excellent do the job of cutting the track well I do however need to work on holding them to get a nice straight cut as many of my cuts were at a slight angle meaning I had to do some additional filing to make them straight.
