Q: If the gloves were too tight the first time and you repurchased a bigger size the second time, how was the second fit?

I purchased small by mistake and they are tight but workable. I purchased medium (my normal size) after and they fit as expected, comfortable in the hand although the fingers are long meaning there about 1/4" past my fingers. They work for me, I wear the gloves for a very short time a day.

Q: What exactly are these made from? Some of us react to materials made from corn, wheat etc.

These are made from nitrile, which is a latex-free synthetic material

Q: Has anyone tried putting these in the compost pile and seeing how they go after five years? I'm gen. curious.

The biodegradable gloves have undergone testing and are certified. They are tested per ASTM D5526 testing and validates up to a 21% biodegradable within 41 days. Actual biodegradation will vary depending on landfill conditions and biological activity of microorganisms surrounding the nitrile gloves.
