Simply immerse the vest in cold water for a minute, until it is saturated and gently wring out the excess water.

As the vest slowly dries, simply re-soak it, to reactivate the cooling properties.
The vest is antibacterial and machine washable on a cool setting, and should be air dried naturally, not tumble dried or placed on a radiator or direct heat source.
