These work gets when the electric goes out and last longer than I expected. They are bright so you have the same light as if the electric didn't go out. They work off the battery for several hours. you need to have the electric source turned on then when the electric goes out the battery kicks in. So I use one light source then when that fades turn on another one. I really like these. I don't have to sit in the dark. I use them in lamp and just screw them in. The battery is charged by it being in the light. worth every cent if you don't want to be in the dark when electric goes out.

I haven't needed to use these yet but I did charge all of them and put them in the little hook that comes with them. I have them in my emergency box. They will come in handy when power is lost at night. I can also see a use for them in camping. It is just very handy. The light is very bright. It is compatible with any screw-in light and charges in 8 hours, at least that is what I did to make sure it was fully charged. There is no way to see if it is fully charged and it would be nice if they had some indicator of this. I can't speak to the life span, as this is the first charge and I haven't needed to use them yet.

These work great. The power when out the other night. When it did these lights came on automatically. It was great bc it was in the late evening, and it was dark outside. They worked so well a neighbor thought I had a generator running.

I have had these for a while now and some of the. Work perfectly while other come on at random times. Its can be a bit stressful depending on where you have these i had some in the bedroom and master bathroom I had to remove them they kept waking me up coming on a different time in the night
