Quality; sturdy yet flexible - valuable accessory!
Patience in initial alignment over my CGM device equals confidence & ease in subsequent applications. Fits perfectly and provides secure coverage to maintain CGM placement stability during activities. No skin irritation experienced. Adhesive cover residue is easily and completely removed with GooGone (or specialty pads) when needed. This is a very cost-effective CGM accessory, as no dislodgment of CGM has occurred since purchase, thus eliminating a need for unscheduled, inconvenient & costly CGM devoice replacement. I am ordering a back-up before potential import tariffs could increase production/shipping costs. This device is a valued companion component to my CGM in monitoring my health. Highly recommend!

These work well especially when you first start wearing the sensor patches. Gives extra protection from getting dislodged from bumps. Easy to attach

Wonderful investment in protecting my sensors.
I have 2 issues that makes me hard on my sensors: because of loose skin, I put the sensor more on the outside of my arm than on the back of it, and I actually tend to bump into door jams and corners. I have had several sensors damaged by this. I was thrilled when I saw this product. It works so very well. I use the small sticky cover over the sensor, then the GripShield, and finally a sticky overlay. I have not had any issues with my sensors since. I like this product so much that I even shared it with my endocrinologist.

Update: Disappointed
Update 7-5- 24 I noticed when attaching my 2nd gripshield it looked slightly warped. I applied it as I did the first one, after 24 hours the gripshield was pulling up on one side ripping my overlay patch. I reapplied another overlay but that did not stop it. I can't take it off due to the sensor possibly coming off and we all know those sensors are not cheap. I contacted deck my diabetes through email and told them the 2nd one was defective. They asked for a picture of it on my arm and I sent it. They came up with every reason that it could be my fault. Why would I give such glowing reviews for the first one but saying anything negative about the 2nd one was met with user fault. I never asked for my money to be returned only a replacement. Also I have to cut it up and send picture proof before they will replace. I have 5 days left on my sensor, I'm willing to do what they ask after my sensor expires but the way they went about it was very unprofessional. It's a 12 dollar piece of silicone and they act like I'm trying to rip them off. I really liked the first one but at this point I will replace it myself and hope for the best so I can have a backup. Shame on you Deck my diabetes for treating a customer as if they're not telling the truth after I sent everything you requested. I will be looking elsewhere for future diabetic needs. I know items can be faulty but their customer service don't seem to agree. Update: The gripshield firmly kept my sensor in place with the overpatch for the full 10 days. I bumped my arm a few times and it did its job. Pretty impressed, I did order a 2nd one and replaced my sensor yesterday. Took off the old one and I swear it would of held up for several more days, and that's showering everyday. If you're on the fence buy it, very flexible and didn't feel any different with it on. Was comfortable. I bought the clear one, first time using this and it is pretty great. I do use it on my arm, bumped into the door frame and didn't move. I bought different overpatches that will fit over it but the product comes with 2. Easy to put over my Dexcom G7 and I used the overpatch that came with the gripshield. I really like them so much, even after several days of showers it hasn't lifted at all. I live in Florida where it's so hot and sweat and it's still secure. I'm pretty impressed and I don't say that very often about things. I ordered another one as a backup and probably will be ordering their overpatches as well, keeping the ones I bought as a backup. Granted I'm only on day 4 so I'll update after 10 days again. Worth the money.

Only 2 covers
This cover fit perfectly over my Dexcom 7. I would have given this 5 stars. The price and only 2 covers were my issue with this product.

Use in lieu with other products
Works great! However, the overlay patch isn't the best. I would recommend putting Dexcom’s overlay patch under it AND THEN put a fabric overlay patch on the bumper. Use skin tax because it is not sticky as I liked. Only day one and I can see the patch itself isn’t very durable.

Diabetic accessories
These are amazing, especially for people who bump their sites not only is it a bumper, but it also protects it from coming off. I highly recommend if you’re looking for good diabetic accessories.

10/10 LOVE
I purchased the Expressionmed and the Glucomart brands to compare. The 2 brands had similar designs. so to make it as fair as possible i purchased the stars/universe designs of both so they had similar color and design. I found that the expressionmed is a more papery patch. it is rougher and wrinkles once it gets wet and dries. The patch did stay the entire 10 days with some lifting on the outside as well as wrinkling near the CGM. I prepped my skin by washing with a mild soap and using alcohol on a cotton ball and allowed to air dry. i paired both patches with the "Deck my diabetes" Gripshield reusable CGM Armor Protection in the glow green color. as my arm is drying I peel off the backing of the patch in the inside leaving only the tails on each end, I insert the shield through the hole, inside to outside and lightly press the shield onto the patch. Once my CGM is inserted i first use the over patch in the Dexcom 7 box, then I can apply the CGM protective shield with the decorative over patch ensuring that my CGM is protected for the entire use. Glucomart is a silkier patch, I was worried about it initially but it conforms better to your skin and does not wrinkle like the ExpressionMed patches. I experienced no rashing, hives or breakouts with either patch and I have sensitive skin and a latex allergy. I swim a lot and preping my CGM the way i do has been very beneficial to staying on the entire 10 days without having to change patches. If you do need to change your over patch using the protective shield allows you to pull off the top over patch without jeopardizing the smaller over patch. All in all ExpressionMed patches get a 6/10 due to quality and function The Glucomart patches 10/10 and the Gripshield Armor 10/10 hope this helps.
