Amazing product

Great mic! Use it for work in an open off ice plan, loads of MS Teams meetings daily and it’s a professional level upgrade from any other “office/business” labeled mics. It does not pick up ambient noise around i.e. shuffling papers, talking etc. I do have only one thing I dislike and that’s the headphone monitoring likes to cut out all the time in mid meetings. The mic keeps working but the audio goes out. Not sure the cause as all drivers are updated and it’s inconsistent when it happens. I fixed it with an external usb audio interface Device and switching to XLR connection from the usb direct. Great product though!

Doesn’t work. Bought it to travel with it and noticed at destination that it turns on but doesn’t pick any sound. The audio output through 3.5 jack is working but the mic itself isn’t. Tried with iPhone 16 pro, Macbook Pro M1 Max, windows 11. None of them is picking sound despite being detected by the system. Definitely faulty. Request to be refunded. I will try another brand

Amazing quality... good noise isolation and great overall performance. the pop filter is amazing and works well as well. the only thing is that for a USB microphone, its a bit overpriced. but its fairly premium so im happy

It’s a good product but not as great as Shure MV7. I’m a CEO. I use direct monitoring so I can tell the quality easily. I use Shure headset with MV7 and when home I use this one. This mic is good, but the quality could have been better. Shure Mv7 is much more clearer and sharper

Ok i feel i need to address this but when i was first looking at this i saw it was frequently returned amd the shock hit me too but i felt it was such a good product i needed to take the risk ok so before we get into the pros and cons i came from a yeti x and was debating on this or the shure mv7+ but since the time of making this review the mv7+ is much more expensive and after watching videos this mic sounded better on usb PROS: -im honestly pretty impressed how well built this mic feels and it does have pretty good weight to it -the sound signature is just so good for the price and even out of the box with no software it sounds great -the software is actually pretty easy to use and theres even an advanced mode for people who want more options -much better at not picking up mouse clicks or keyboard typing CONS: -the lack of a physical mute button is definitely taking some getting used to -the usb is usb-c to usb-c some people may need to get an adapter if using older motherboards or laptops with no usb-c (most stuff has usb-c but im just putting that out there) Overall im glad i gave this one a chance

The PodMic USB is awesome. It looks fantastic RØDE really know how to make a professional-looking mic — and the build quality is solid. Perfect for podcasting, streaming, or voice recording, and I’ve even used it on location where it performed beautifully. The sound is clear, rich, and broadcast quality. Having both XLR and USB connectivity makes it super versatile for different setups. A brilliant mic at a great price point.
