The lamp was beautiful. Too small tho. But they have had my return since the 5th of May and still no refund,just keep that in mind

My lamp arrived in a couple of days, as described. It was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. A 60 watt LED “Antique Edison Bulb G45 was included, which is nice. It’s a good thing I read the Instructions because the illustration referred to a rubber washer that is supposed to go between the finial and the shade. If you look at the top of the rod before installing the shade you will see that there is an extra rubber washer there to be removed and reset on top of the shade and under the finial. The reason this washer is important is because it decreases the ease with which the shade will rotate around the rod whenever the lamp is bumped. It also cushion the shade a little. I chose a hexagon shade instead of a square shade because when it rotates it will be less noticeable than my old square shade was. The cord is 56.5 inches long, which is too short as far as I’m concerned. The reason I said I’m mostly happy is because my last stained glass lamp had amber and brown colors that gave off a beautiful warm glow. This lamp is closer to yellow and not so warm. But it is still very pretty. The description said the base is made out of resin, but it looks and feels like a heavy metal.

The lamp was delivered in a timely manner and the lamp is a beautiful lamp that looks nice in my room of antiques.

I love this lamp. I was looking for something unique to place on my sideboard cabinet and looked at double globe and hurricane lamps when I found this one. I love it for it's warmth and beauty. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, for a reason that turned out to be a small issue, is that the "harp", the device that holds the lampshade over base us too short to allow a standard size bulb to be inserted. And since the manufacturer recommends not using an LED bulb, it becomes a challenge to find a bulb that fits. However, I placed the GE Relax LED bulb with the Comfortable choice (there are styles) to not only fit perfectly but gives a nice warm appearance. This bulb has a warm 2700 Kelvin color temperature which gives the lamp the warm look I was after. Now this is an LED bulb which is not recommended by the manufacturer. But I can't understand why. It only draws 5.5 watts (while providing the brightness of a 60 watt bulb) and has a stated lifespan of 13 years. So if the manufacturer doesn't recommend it then for liability issues, I don't either. But I can't figure any electrical safety issues and this particular bulb gives a warm appearance which the lamp was designed for. Oh, by the way the packaging was supered.

The lamp was packaged very well. I used the cloth that came with it to wipe the oil off of the lamp shade. I love the color. It definitely requires a small lightbulb and the one that comes with it says to only use it to test. I bought the Corn Bulb and there is no flickering.

I wasn't sure what to expect, in so far as quality, but I'm very pleased with this lamp. It's exactly as described and beautifully made. The soldering is smooth and even and it has a wonderful glow. I couldn't be happier.
