I read all the reviews for the Sandalwood essential oil. Upon sniffing directly from the bottle, yes, it does smell strongly of Tea Tree Essence. Upon further inspection, I discovered it’s not tea tree oil, the essential oil is so concentrated that without heat or dilution it is very reminiscent of tea tree oil. So if your only plan is to sniff it straight out the bottle, you will be sorely disappointed. I put my oil in a car diffuser and some got on my fingers. It warms to a robust almost cigar humidor savory sandalwood. I find it opening up to a powerful very “pure incense version” of sandalwood notes as it warms on my hands. Do not use on yourself unless you dilute this. This is mainly intended for use as a household/car fragrance and it is very strong. A little goes a long way.

Not sure why some ugly reviews about the performance of this delightful essential oil. It is known that vetiver carries a smoking facet that blends with a settle touch of citrus and floral. That is the whole idea of this relaxing at the same time invigorating essence. Well, in my opinion smells great all the way.

It smells great, but it smells a little bit different than the other vanilla I’ve tried. Great price great value. I will definitely use it up.

3.5 star because... Although its advertised for diffusers, candles, etc; and they don't claim the oil can be used on the skin. Still, they should warn against trying to use as body scent. I liked the smell and tried it on the wrist, but turned out to be a very bad idea. The area became red in minutes, had to wash it off and put some first aid cream to get my wrist back to normal quickly. It didn't became a real issue because I didn't try it on my neck or somewhere else. I am not sure it is safe to use on soaps. It is really good for the diffusers and I assume it should work great in candles, but DO NOT APPLY ON SKIN.

Smells like tea tree oil with a hint of sandalwood. Very different from pure sandalwood oil I’ve gotten, though I guess the pure ones are more than 10x this one’s price
