They work. Function as magnets do. Nice and long for when I drop a screw behind a deck or something random like that. Light weight. Durable. Not bendable but that’s ok for my needs. Good value. I have a couple around the house.

These are a must-have in my sewing room. I'm lucky enough to have a great sewing room. The only problem is that it is carpeted. Carpet and sewing pins don't play together well; I like to sew in my sock feet, and that's dangerous. Ouch! So I keep one of these on top of my sewing machine at all times and use it after every session to pick up any stray pins. I always catch at least one or two that I didn't even know I dropped. Also, it's great that they included an extra one; I keep it next to my chair in the living room for miscellaneous items. Sometimes I use the extended wand to fish an item out from under my couch when I just need it for the reach. They're also great for picking up dropped screws, nails, etc. Wouldn't want to be without these handy tools.

These extension magnetic wands replace two that my children broke. I have no durability issues with these two. I only needed one so I feel like I got the second one for free. I really like that they look like pens. This magnet wand looks right at home in my office set up. The other one is in my car so now if I lose a screw or I have to don’t fish out something underneath the desk or car I don’t have to get on all fours and scramble under. The magnet is powerful. And the extension is 25.5” with smooth retractable action. It has a tactile click as you extend or compact.. No durability issues to report on either wand. I like the pocket clip which holds the mag wand secure until I need it. Compared to the other set I had before; this pair of extension magnet wands is good value for money and I can recommend it over other similar brands.

Used carefully, lifting weight with vertical (magnetic head downward) rather than horizontal (magnetic head outward) extension, so avoiding excess strain on the joints, this tool works well. It feels well-made and durable. I find it helpful, not only to retrieve the errant screw or nail, but to fiddle with too, when deep in thought.
