When I saw this headboard, I secretly hoped it would look so nice that I’d never go looking for a higher end version of it and could just keep it forever. It doesn’t look as nice as that, but it does look pretty nice for the price point and much nicer than a blank wall. Whereas a high end version of this headboard would have disguised the seams better so that the long wood pieces aren’t so obviously glued together, this headboard does not do that and you can clearly see where there are very different colors of wood brought together in the top rail, for instance. The chevron design should look patchwork, but the top rail should at least pretend to be a solid piece of wood. When I have space, I might restain it entirely and see if I can disguise those seams better.Aside from that, the headboard was shipped very well packaged and nearly intact except for putting the legs on. The instructions and hardware are similar to IKEA furniture, and no additional tools were needed. It was easy to put together, and I could have done it by myself, but because it was King size a helper was suggested and very useful. I appreciated that it came with hardware and instructions to attach it to a wall or a metal or a wood bed frame.Aside from the obvious seams, the staining is lovely and even, and when put together the whole thing feels heavy, sturdy, and well constructed. I think it’s an incredible value for the money and the fact that you can get anywhere near this look for this price is really great. When I stain the nightstands to look similarly patchwork, it’s going to look stunning in here. So while it may not fool anyone into thinking it’s high end furniture, it’s still a lovely headboard and I can recommend buying it.

This bed is solid! Very easy to assemble, instructions easy to understand, and it took one person maybe a whole 35 minutes! It arrived extremely well packed with no damage. It is VERY HEAVY so will need 2 or more ppl to move the package to its resting location. The material construction is impressive. It doesn't squeak, shift, or move. The whole set looks great! Super happy and would def recommend!

This bed really is an amazing value for the money. It was easy to put together, directions were clear and there really weren't all that many parts. It's real wood, and it is stunning. It does not squeak, at all, and it feels so much more expensive then it is. I was honestly shocked.The supports are metal which is a really nice upgrade and the velcro for the slats is much more secure than any other platform bed I've put together.I am so happy I took a chance on this...I was not expecting such great quality for under $400. I am in the market for another bed frame and I will most definitely buy another BME product.

Easy assembly of legs. Everything else was already assembled. Very cute night stands. We purchased the matching bed frame to go along with it. Absolutely love this set. Drawers are easy to open and close.

We recently bought this for our guest room. It looks like a much higher end piece than the $400 price tag it carries. It's well made and was easy to assemble. The color is really lovely in person too. After we had it assembled I thought, "I wish it were in *our* bedroom!"

We modified this a bit so it would fit our 2 adjustable twin beds (the kind that come with their own platforms to raise and lower the head and feet). Even modified it still feels sturdy and I love how beautiful it is.

The headboard looks great, especially for the price point. The headboard was well packaged, and survived a pretty solid drop from the back of the delivery truck. I didn't see any broken styrofoam and didn't find any damage whatsoever on the headboard itself.Building it was super fast and attaching it to the bedframe was fairly quick. We have a queen sized platform base from Zinus (18"h version) with the extra brackets for attaching the frame to headboards (also from Zinus). The wooden posts of this headboard are wider than the base with the brackets in the default positions, my partner was able to shift it over just enough to get the posts to just line up, but we had to bend the brackets to make it happen.I like that I can recycle the cardboard packaging, and the instructions were on printer paper so that was recyclable, and I have the option to recycle the styrofoam through Ridwell (to be fair I don't know how you'd ship this without it) ....but, they included a 'thank you' on a thick piece of custom designed waterproof flyer/folder type of work that cannot be recycled. Why?? A recycled thin cardstock printed with normal ink would have met the need. Unnecessary use of unrecyclable materials is annoying.

This bed frame is better than the expensive one I had bought 6years ago that’s already falling apart. It is REAL wood. And very stout. I love that the center brace is metal. And like that you don’t need a box spring. It doesn’t set to low or to high. Arrived in a packed box inside another packed box. It took me 45 minutes to unbox and put it together by myself. I had to unbox it outside as it is heavy. And it comes with one extra of the bolts and washers, very helpful. Directions really wasn’t a must but if you don’t build or put together anything very often they are good to have. I am very pleased with this. I will buy from this brand from now on. I just wish they made dressers too. From my experience with wood frames is to get a wood conditioner and condition it twice a year. It’s not a must but it keeps the frames looking new and less likely to crack over the long run. I will be getting the nightstand as well. Very pleased.
