Q: How many actually come with this 3 pack? It sounds like it should be 3 boxes of 12 wafers. Is that correct?

Yes that is correct. My husband eats a packet every evening between 8-9pm. He is purchasing a box from a Wal-Mart since they are stocking them better these days but they must be very popular b/c they will run out and at times its slim pickens so he does stock up. When he couldn't get them from Wal-mart he did order from amazon. Each packet contains 2 thin wafers which my husband thinks it tastes great and he feel its a small snack and it keeps him very regular to boot. There are 12 packets in each box (12 servings). Q: Code dates? Walmart is stocking 2020; other stores have 2018 and they crumble as unwrapped.

It is important to get them fresh. At WALGREENS I purchased a box that was out of date and I could taste the difference. It was the apple flavor which I like. I ordered my boxes from Amazon and they were fine . They did not crumble. I am going to reorder them again. I take them drinking water,or tea.
