In order to close the window properly the kit needs to bend because the hose adapter is wider than the window inserts.

Product came in two boxes; Amazon box and the manufacturer's own box. It must be to protect the original box. This product is exactly what I'm looking for. The quality is very good; thick, seems heavy duty; NOT flimsy; excellent quality.

I have vertical window too tall for the kit that came with the air conditioner, was grateful this kit worked great to get it set up.

It fit perfectly.

I bought this kit because it has a 6 and 1/2 inch wide window panel. The panel supplied with the a/c is only 4 and 1/2 inches. The window is side sliding one and is inset about 4 inches and the narrow panel with the vent hose would not fit. The panel could not fit the window frame channel because the hose kept it from sitting in the channel and being secured. The wider panel fits nicely and is seals the opemimg perfectly.

All I needed to do was take the stock hose attachment with the one included in this kit and everything worked like a charm.Installation was easy and includee sealing tape was very handy in ensuring a tight seal. While not premium quality, all the parts were sturdy and well fitting.Happy with the purchase and will recommend!
