Armored Core Zebra Defender Case for IPhone 4/4S White/Black with Hot Pink Shell

I really loved the design of this case and was a big fan of the cheap price. My case shipped from China, and coupled with the cheap price I was expecting to be less than thrilled with it but I was wrong. The case arrived 2 weeks early, fits my phone perfectly and looks awesome. The zebra plastic part feels pretty cheap (but again, was only like $3) and will probably tear over a few months of use, but I could be wrong and thats still a few good months for only a few dollars. The pink snap on case below feels very well constructed and fits great. I would compare the size to an Otterbox Defender, but its a bit smaller. Comes with a screen protector which was nice! I already dropped my phone, it was fine, and feel confident that it will be protected with further drops. Would definitely buy this again. If I paid a regular $30-40 for a high quality case I would be more apt to give this 3 stars because of the flimsy zebra part, but for $3 I am definitely very pleased.

I love the design of this product and for 3 bucks I figured it was worth a shot even though most of the reviews are pretty mixed. I am going from a Survivor case to this so maybe I just expected a little more but I'm terrified to drop my phone because I don't think it is very ruggedised, due to both the cheap plastic and even the rubber on the outer part feels like it could easily tear. Also it took 2 weeks to receive which sucked, but better than the month long estimated delivery date. One more thing, I almost had a heart attack when I looked at my screen and saw scratches, but it turns out it was the plastic part covering the phone that was scratched. Annoying, but not terribly noticeable. It just would've been nice if it had been handled better prior to me getting it. So, basically in my opinion for 3 bucks and free shipping it's not the worst deal I've ever made but that being said you get exactly what you pay for.

So I was a little worried about getting this item since it said it'd take a month to get here. (It's coming from Japan) but it came in less than 2 weeks, and seems great. I got it for my toddlers to use on their iPhone, and it works fine. I wouldn't get this case if you planned on using it on a iPhone that's used for anything other than kid games. The screen protector would be bothersome. This isn't like a otterbox, it's not going to protect your phone from anything other than a normal drop. But for under three dollars, I'm very happy. They have great costumer service too, I had to cancel and get a refund on my first case because I ordered the wrong generation. They were fast and very helpful.

This case if very cute and protective, but it's no where near the quality of the Otterbox. The plastic has very sharp edges (makes it uncomfortable to hold) and the built in screen protector was a little hazy and came with marks on it already. I already had a screen protector on my phone so I just popped the one built into the case out and it worked a lot better. I kept this case on my phone for 2 days, I couldn't take the plastic poking my fingers so I took it off.I really wanted to love this case, but if I get this style of case again, I'll stick with Otterbox.

I LOVE this product. True story: i left my phone laying on the edge of the bed of my father's truck one evening. He was not aware of this and drove away. Later, when I realized what I had done, I searched the roads from my house to his house for hours looking for my phone, checking ditches and storm drains where it may have fallen off. Come to find out, the phone was still on the edge of the truck bed because the rubbery case kept it from sliding off! How amazing is that!?!? Love the design as well.

In the year 2013, large populations of individuals shop online to find the greatest products or the best deals they can obtain. One of the numerous websites which attribute to this technological era is amazon.com. Instead of purchasing an item in the actual store for its original price, somehow Amazon sells it cheaper. Back in January of this year I bought the armored core zebra print case white/black with a hot pink shell for my new iPhone I received for Christmas. I was not only overjoyed to have the same phone as all my friends but to have a fashionable yet durable phone case too. However to my surprise this was one of my worst investments ever and a total waste of my two dollars and sixty-seven cents. As I read the bulleted description for this phone case, it stated that this product entailed two layers of protection as well as a built in screen protector with water resistance. Below this was a more in depth description of the merchandise I ended up purchasing. In this paragraph the seller wrote, “...without any baneful smell, easy to install and take off, no tools required. You can clean and reuse it time after time.” These exact words persuaded me to buy the phone case and within five days I received the package in the mail. Nevertheless, in just one week I went from being a proud customer of Amazon to absolutely loathing their network. No longer was this case its black original color, but had turned to white on all the corners and was starting to tear from the top to the bottom. Instead of bargaining for an Otterbox, which usually costs between forty to fifty dollars, I thought this zebra case was quite similar however I was completely incorrect. Also this product was supposed to provide protection to my iPhone screen and in that one week the entire front of my phone shattered. The cause of this injury to my new possession established from the insecurity of the connection between the two layers of casing. The seller also had promised their consumers that this phone case would never concoct a potent smell, but once again they were wrong. The rubber smell created a horrible aroma in my purse whether I was in school or at home. I even tried spraying it, washing it, and putting it outside to air out for a couple days; nothing worked. Honestly could this case be used time after time? No, this phone case unfortunately is only a one time use or should not be even a thought to purchase if it will only last for a week. Likewise I was not able to charge my iPhone because the case prohibited the charger from fitting which was very disappointing. The case’s vibrant design is attractive especially for girls and is definitely the only determining factor that convinces the Amazon customers to buy it. In the end, I wish I had not purchased this item because every description or detail the seller promised to me turned out to be the complete opposite. My new iPhone did not last too long due to the phone case; truthfully I might as well not have even used any case since the phone would have probably endured for a longer period of time. Despite the price being low, there are many easy and reparable changes that can and should be made to this item. For my future investments, I learned to choose more wisely in the research of the product I may want and to never settle for the cheaper item, but maybe save enough money for the more expensive one.
