It appears there are some containers that reflect this cream is made or distributed in the U.S.A. and others made in Thailand.  Several people across the internet have asked  the very same questions- "Is there a difference?" and most importantly- "Is it safe?"  Based on my research there is a general agreed upon consensus- no one has reported experiencing a difference between the containers marked 'U.S.A' and 'Thailand'.  With all due respect, just because 'others' didn't have a bad experience didn't mean I'd have the same results. If I was already unsure about purchasing the product, 'other's' assurance would not be enough for me to feel comfortable forking out my hard earned money or potentially jeopardizing my health. If you're still unsure about the product- I'd say that's your best bet to get some real, quantifiable answers. .  On a personal note, I have been using the following Olay Regenerist products for over 2 years now: 1. Microsulpting Cream, 2. Eye Lifting Serum, 3. Night Recovery Cream, and Regenerating Serum.  My last batch was ordered from Amazon, past products from various drug stores and supermarkets.  I can say that I have not seen or felt any difference in product consistency or results .  Amazon actually has a bigger selection as I had never observed the night cream at other retailers, has coupons and is cheaper without any discounts. According to the chemists I've talked to, the science and chemistry talent required to even attempt recreating facial moisturizers like these would have to be very advanced. Though some could come close to replicating these products I cannot foresee an exact match- and I guarantee I would feel the difference. I've been a licensed Cosmetologist for almost 10 years and the state I live in requires the study of the integumentary system (skin is part of this)  and my license includes the ability to work as an esthetician.  I'm a natural groomer, have problematic skin and currently help educate and enable others on ways to improve their grooming habits, make product suggestions as well as individualized directions on how to get maximum results from those products. I had purchased this product before for a store and do not believe the product I received from this seller to be authentic.  The look, color, texture and feel on my skin was completely different.  I returned the product.
