Bought this cable for a smaller screen/monitor for my Desktop pc that does not have a usb-c dp alt port, everything works perfectly and so far there have been zero issues.The screen in question: asus ZenScreen MB166C

Only product that worked!.Tried several different adapters to go from a source DP connection, to a USB C portable monitor. depending on source it does work with only one cable and no extra power source to portable monitor. I use it to connect to servers without monitors connected. Just be aware that if you want to see the BIOS menu on boot up then you will need to plug into an external power source as sometimes the server/pc usb may not power up straight away until boot led up.

This is all you need to connect your PC to the Apple Studio Monitor and retain speakers and webcam functionalities. I wasted countless hours reading countless threads online that say you need a Maple Ridge PCI-E card, etc, etc which is what I used to have until I read of this cable, and since I plugged it in, it has effectively rendered the Maple Ridge card redundant. Now my graphics card has space to breathe and there's no more cable mess.I know it says the max resolution is 4k, but I can also confirm this works at 5k 60Hz flawlessly. Can't recommend this enough!

Can confirm this works for my Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 but will only run at 2560x1440 and not the full 4k 3840 x 2160. Have tried all port combinations, yes apparently wacom made it so only one of these ports will support 4k (it's the top left USB-C).Tablet works fine at 4k on my work laptop with a different USB C cable but I wanted to use this with my main PC which doesn't have the alt-display/thunderbolt port it's just a normal USB C. Very annoying...But yeah cable works and will probably be using it in future even if it's not full 4k.

This cable has been the only one I have found that is 100% compatible when linking my desktop GPU via display port to my ASUS ZenScreen 166C USB C port. While it isn’t braided it is relatively thick and once installed probably won’t need to be moved so not to worried about the quality of the finish. For the price im super happy.

does not do as it says. Will work as a data port cable, will NOT send video. Have it plugged in just now new, sure keyboard + mouse feedback works (via a KVM) but zero video. Video works fine from another device so no cabling issues other than this cable itself

Tested with two PCs and in both cases speakers, microphones, and camera work as expected. Full 5K resolution and 60Hz refresh. Recommend for any Apple Studio Display user.
