Samsung SmartThings Station, with Power Adapter, 15W Super Fast Wireless Charger, Compact Design, Overheating Protection, Smart Home Hub, 2023, EP-P9500TWEGUS, White

I've had my eye on this for a while and saw it was on sale for prime day, so I went for it! Fast wireless charges my Note 20 Ultra. Connected to my Smartthings network without issue (I am running a Hub v2 and was worried there would be disagreement, but it joined fine). I really enjoy the smart button, which I am using to activate various combos of smart lights in my office. The only thing I'll ding it for is the bright blue LED: if you're sensitive to the blue light, I wouldn't recommend this for your bedside table. These companies need to start moving to more diffuse LEDs, as this one is just ridiculously bright! But otherwise this is a great device. Haven't tested the Matter Bridge yet but will see in the future when I buy new smart home stuff

Got this is a replacement for a later generation SmartThings I had. I like that it is a wireless phone charger. The only drawback is it only supports Wifi and Zigbee, not Z-wave. I thought the description said it supports Z-wave, but I guess it doesn't. Not a big deal, I just had to re-program some devices, but it works well.

This smartthings station is quite impressive! The setup was easy and the app is really user-friendly. I love that it connects with various brands. I used to have 2 or 3 hubs for all of my smart devices, but this makes everything communicate so smoothly.

I purchased the Samsung SmartThings Station with Power Adapter hoping to expand my smart home setup, but it didn’t meet my expectations. Whether it was compatibility issues or performance concerns, it just didn’t work as seamlessly as I needed it to. Despite Samsung’s reputation for solid smart home products, this station didn’t integrate well into my existing ecosystem. I ultimately decided to return it to the seller. It might work for some setups, but it wasn’t the right fit for mine. Pros: - Compact design with integrated power adapter - Potential for broad smart home integration Cons: - Didn’t meet expectations for seamless performance - Returned to the seller due to compatibility and usability issues

It's an okay wireless charger and I suppose the button would be nice if I didn't already have a lot of SmartTags. Haven't been able to use for any other devices since I'm all in on ZWave and don't have Zigbee stuff. Doesn't play nice with my magsafe case and only seems to charge my S22 Ultra sometimes without the case and with carefully placing it just right. Not really any worse than a number of wireless chargers I've had, but nothing especially better either.

Bonus fastest wireless charger I've tried. Been looking at zigbee devices for a while. Always been frustrating how every vendor tries to lock you in with their own hub. This one finally allows most of it to integrate. It's so no what you would expect from Samsung :)

It's great as wireless charger, looks beautiful, build quality and materials feels premium, everything you need is in the box, but... It looses connection from SmartThings, and it's blinking for a long while to reconnect, if you plan to build smart home on this as Tread border router (Matter) then I can't recommend it, it's not stable enough. Also, little thing, LED is very bright, and there is no night mode, you either have light on or completely off, during the day I'd like to see the light, and at night is way too bright for bedroom, but somehow Samsung forgot about something so basic. Long story short, good charger, not so good router.

I have my smart station in my office where I can charge my phones and headphones between meetings, where they're easy to grab without yanking a cable. All of our appliances are Samsung and we have them connected through our SmartThings app. The app detected the station right away and guided us through the setup. That was pretty seamless. I look forward to connecting all our other smart things around the house and creating routines with this station.
