Q: Why is thickness relevant?

Not sure but these smell awesome but they absolutely do not burn slow. Some of the fastest burning candles I've ever used. I thought the first one I ordered burned up quick so I've been keeping track of this second one. So far I've got about 8hrs total burn time and it's already almost half gone. And yes, I burn how recommend and keep the wick trimmed. I'll be lucky to get 20hrs total, not 80 as advertised. False advertisement for sure.

Q: what is the ingredient that binds to "scientifically destroy" odors? looking for an answer from the manufacturer.

I don’t know you have to ask them, but they don’t use herbicides or pesticides (which would be a HUGE issue for me). And the candle is NOT tested on animals. Another BIG reason I love their candles. And the candles are made in the USA. Great product! I can only say good things, haven’t been disappointed.

Q: The lavender candle lists clove as a middle note. Does anyone smell the clove, or is it detectable? Want to try lavender but hate the smell of clove.

I only detect Lavender! My favorite is Baby Powder..just saying !

Q: What kind of wax are used to make these candles?

All of the fragranced Candles from Dianna's are great and smell truly as they are labeled. They are the best I have ever purchased. Good Luck and ENJOY!
