Wicks do not light and wax doesn't come off quickly or easily!! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! WASTE OF MONEY
These arrived early, which is the only positive about this product! Otherwise, the wicks do not burn! As soon as I light them, they go out! The wax doesn't drop in drips, it one long thin, stringy wax piece. So takes forever to use! I am not happy with this product - I would much rather return the products and get a refund! I bought 2 packs of 5 (silver and blue) and one pack of 10 (red)! As I have bought these to seal my wedding invitations (with I stamp I already had) and its taking forever to get the wax to work and to stamp my seal! To the point where the wax dries before I even managed to stamp it! Really wouldn't buying this product!!! Not happy!

Should be 0 stars
One of the occasions when you're wishing for a 0 star rating option. The wick is not easy to light, then burns really quickly - but the wax doesn't really melt properly so the wick burns out leaving maybe a couple of drops of red stuff on your letter... I say "red stuff" because this stuff melts more like plastic than wax, being stringy and messy and just really nasty stuff. Not only would I not recommend, but I wouldn't even cut up the "wax" to melt in a spoon over a candle (the alternative method to melt wax for sealing). This stuff is just awful and a total waste of money.

Very disappointed!
Not a good product! Bought for my class to use to seal homemade Tudor letters, but the wicks didn't burn very well, and the wax was like melted plastic and set fire to the paper! Also, when we had managed to melt a sufficient amount (after several relighting attempts!) anything you stamped into it stuck to the melted seal. Could create a decent stamp at all. It was also lethal as it was as hot as melting plastic! We didn't use them in the end as they didn't work properly and they could have created a serious burn! Very disappointed. The children were too.

Not good
These particular wax sticks are no good. Despite being described as ‘wine red’ they aren’t more of a metallic brownish shade. The wicks will not stay lit at all so you end up having to try using a separate candle or lighter which isn’t ideal. The wax itself when melting is too thick so doesn’t provide a steady drip, rather it comes down to the paper in gloopy strings and slowly as well so by the time you’ve got enough in a circle you can’t press and spread it adequately. All in all it’s trash.

slow burning
Mine burnt very slowly-tried twice. Both drip so slowly that by the time I get the amount I wanted, the middle had cooled and the groove of the seal is barely visible. The next time I use it, I'll do what one of the reviewer did- let it burn longer and let it drip in the middle until I get the amount I want.

Read the reviews!
Stupidly I bought this without reading the reviews first. I saw that it was the Manuscript brand which I have had in the past and it has always been a good product. This however is not a good product, at all. The wicks do not stay alight and the wax is stringy and sticky (I tried just melting it under an open flame). Please avoid this product. This is a lesson to me that something may have 4* overall but the most recent 1* reviews paint the real picture.

Not the best candle
Really good colour and texture to the wax but very challenging to use, the wick burns very quickly and then you can’t light it again. When you do get it alight it tends to have made a mess. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend. I brought for a travel wax but I think I’ll end up cutting them up and using them in a crucible.

Difficult to use
Hard to keep the taper alight for long enough to get a decent blob, especially if you want to emboss a logo ito it, as it tales a while to get going. By the time you have it soft enough the wick is burnt down. The wax itself needs to be softer so it burns quicker. I couldn't get it to work properly despite using up two tapers.
