No more wires
Just bought a used car with wired android auto. I get tired of pulling my phone out of my pocket and plugging it in getting in and out of my car. I end up forgetting my phone and leaving it in the car. Did not know this device existed but found it on Amazon, ordered it. Got it the next day and immediately installed it and it works like a champ. Super easy, just plug it in to my USB port, let my car see it and then let my phone find it with Bluetooth, it connected right up and was working in 5 minutes after opening the package. It takes it about 10 seconds to auto connect when I get in the car. I feel like I added a huge upgrade to my car with this. I can use my navigation and all my android auto apps. The unit itself is very small and comes with double sided sticky tape, I was able to mount it to the inside of my center console next to the USB plug. After 1 weeks use, I would recommend this to anyone wanting to have wireless connection for android auto, works excellent. Nice little gadget.

Works great, unless it's cold.
Installed this in my 2023 Maverick. It works great, connects seamlessly, and has no real issues, usually. You sacrifice your charging, unless you've got wireless charging or a dedicated plug just for that, but I knew that going in. The only issue I've had is that it's been very cold where I live the past month or two, and it has started glitching. I can't be certain it's the dongle, it could be the infotainment system in the truck, as this is my first winter having the thing. But I'm pretty sure it's the dongle, since when I plug the phone directly into the system, Android Auto works without issue. But that's a minor gripe for such a handy device. I keep the cord handy anyway, because on longer drives, I'd rather have the phone plugged in and charged up, so swapping it out in cold weather is not that big a deal.

Won't work after a month
When these work they work great! Ended up buying a 2nd one for my husband's truck. It worked great but now won't work at all. We bought it a little over a month ago. Exactly 5 days after the return period. Came here to reach out to the seller and there is no way to reach out, the only help is self guided troubleshooting. Hopefully the original doesn't go out soon, but highly disappointed we wasted 50 bucks on the end adapter for it to not even last 2 months.

Perfect for fixing a 2018 Nissan Leaf SL with the Android Auto disconnect problem!
This has effectively elimated the dreaded AA disconnection problem that plagues this model year and several others. I have 1 specific spot in my drive where it briefly pauses my music, but it seems to be an interference issue (read excessive Wifi and bluetooth) at that location and not the fault of this adapter. This is night and day compared to using a cable to my phone which would have Android Auto disconnect randomly up to 3-5 times in a 1 hr drive. My suspicion is a communication and voltage issue when the phone is charging which causes the voltage to dip too low, and the phone or car communicates a failure. Yes I've tried at least a dozen cables ranging from cheap USB 2 USBA to USBC cables, to USB 3 and 4 10gb,20gb,40gb, thunderbolt 3, etc cables. This adapter immediately solved the disconnection issue and after dozens of hours of driving I haven't had the issue since I bought this!TLDR, if you have a Nissan Leaf with the AA disconnect issue, buy this adapter.

Exceeded my expectations!
Short and sweet. Describes this review and the product. I absolutely love this product. Does exactly what it's supposed to. Easy to use and always works. Has made my car neater with one less cord. Honestly one of the best products I've purchased on Amazon. I got the droid one but I'm sure the apple one is just as good. Highly recommend! Only con I can think of is that it is very short. Meaning the cord. From where my USB port is there is no place for me to actually attach the dongle to anywhere on the car. So it just sits straight out of the port and rests on the center console. Fine for me.

Pick something else!
This transmitter is pretty crappy! Sometimes it connects on its own, sometimes you have to jump through hoops to get it to even connect, and sometimes no matter what you do, it'll say it's connected but not do anything! The other day it connected when I opened the back of my suv to put groceries in the back and started playing music when the car wasn't even on. The only reason I gave it 2 stars, is that it works periodically.
