OMG! I did not expect as many candy sticks that I received. They arrived on time, well packaged, presented and I was taken aback by the weight and amount of what was one of my favourite sweets from my childhood. In them days, they called them candy cigarettes and they were in a pack of 10 sticks for around 25p. So, to get 2.5kg at a nonsense price is unbelievable, they will last me many, many months. They are the right consistency - as in soft and hard. I don't like candy sticks hard but these are on the more softer side but are still firm. The sell by date is July 2021, so I don't need to eat them anytime soon. Seriously, 2.5kg will shock you, I could not believe how well presented they arrived and on time to via Royal Mail. Disregard negative comments about hardness or broken sticks, mine arrived in perfect condition and are as delicious as they have always been. They are Barrett original sweets and for the price you seriously can't go wrong. Just take it easy how many you eat, bearing in mind 100g is around 350 calories. A great treat for children but measure what they are consuming, or you may need to remove your door frame to get them out. A great treat not just for children but adults too, just remember 2.5KG is a lot but the price is very, very reasonable.

These sweets are soft, they do get a bit firmer when they are open to the air. Always buy from this seller, good value size pack and very good price.

I was expecting it to be hard candy sticks because of a review I read (I was hoping for it to be hard) however the candy sticks are soft. I'm still happy with the taste but they are extremely sweet so maybe getting a smaller portion would be better

I remember these in the UK, when you'd get a small cardboard pack, and they had red tips.. Bad advertisement to kids back then, but they tated great. These are no exception, they are fantastic, they taste just like the ones back then, they are soft, and extremely morish, 2.5Kg lasts me 2 weeks.. I have a very sweet tooth, and did I mention they are morish ;)

Brilliant, great price. Exactly what I used to get when I was younger. A lot of people putting bent and low rating. The Bassett one have always been bent. People saying they should be hard. Bassett ones have never been hard. People putting broken they are in a bag what do you expect and they have always had broken ones. Obviously not many intelligent people actually knowing what they are buying yet putting a low rating. These have always been my favourite since I was little. These are perfect and exactly like they have always been.

Although they still taste nice there not like the last batch I had from you they were thicker and softer than the ones in this order the flavour is still nice

Purchased these candy sticks for a very good piece. They arrived on time, quickly and in perfect condition. They taste super and will keep me busy for a while. Two note for candy stick fans. There are two sorts hard crunchy sticks and soft sticks. These are SOFT sticks. My sister had one and said she prefers the crunchy ones. Each to their own
