Yes, they run true to size. I wouldn’t say the ankles can be tightened real tight.

Q: Will these boots last long?

Long is somewhat relative. I’ve been using these boots for a few months, mostly for trail walking and so far they’ve held up with no real sign of wear. The boots do have zippers, and I’m always a bit wary about zippers, but so far the zippers are functioning perfectly.

Q: I'm going on a 7-day trip, will these hiking boots fit for me?

Certainly suitable for travel. They are very lightweight,breathable and comfortable for long trips.
