LifeSeasons Inc is located in Utah, and was founded in 2009. LifeSeasons products are carried in several major retail store chains, in addition to online; they include retail UPCs on their labels. "Made in USA" is stated on the bottles, and the LifeSeasons website's page about their manufacturing practices lists a bunch of testing they perform for quality assurance.The bottle is square-ish, vs round. It came with a clear plastic seal around the outside of the lid, and a peel-off paper seal inside the lid. The bottle I received in February 2023 had an expiration date of August 2024.I usually use a different brand of rhodiola that has 350mg per capsule, taking 1 each morning. LifeSeasons's rhodiola has 300mg per capsule, so I just take 1, though it suggests taking 2 for a 600mg serving.

Take without food. Look into side effects and precautions. Off the top of my head: dont take if already have low blood pressure, or low blood sugar. Dont take if on MAOIs, etc.I see that it lists to use this for sleep, but Rhodiola is ENERGIZING, not calming (ashwagandha is better for sleep). I think it can help with sleep by reducing stress, which in turn may impact sleep quality. It ay help with natural sleep cycles by addressing the bigger picture, but I would not take this as a sleeping pill of the sorts. Dont take this before bed and expect to get good sleep from it.I've just started this to help with stress and anxiety. I already have generalized anxiety, but for the past few months have dealt with chronic stress situation, and more recently a related acute stress situation. I'm trying to "take care of myself" better by increasing some supplements (and foods) and introducing some new ones, particularly of the adaptogen variety (addresses stress and therefor many other aspects).Appears to be a whole food product. I dont know how much rosavins and salidrosides are in this.

Life Seasons is a US-based company, and their products are "Made in USA with globally-sourced ingredients". They've been in business for about 14 years so far.Some of their products, including this one, come in bottles that are more rectangular rather than the typical cylindrical bottles. It had the standard double safety seal, inside and out. The expiration date on the one I received was a year and a half after my order.I only use 1 of these per day, rather than their suggested serving size of 2 capsules, so a 60-count bottle lasts me 2 months instead of just 1 month.

I'm not sure if they are helping, there's no magic supplement for low energy... which is what we want..more energy, better focus,less stress , I do breathe a little better when I take them,but as with most supplements..I forget to take them on a regular basis, so if you purchase these take them on a regular basis, don't take them after mid day as they can keep you awake, follow the instructions and do your homework... remember Rhodiola can cause dizziness so listen to your body..... thank you for reading my review.. have a great day

These pills are easy to swallow, but unfortunately it didn’t help with my sleep at all. I’m a chronic insomniac I can’t fall asleep or stay asleep very easily or sleep deeply. And took these for fortnight tomorrow and every single one of those nights my sleep was awful despite my exhaustion so I won’t be continuing to take these not that it wouldn’t work for everyone. It just doesn’t work for me.

What I like about this product is that it is the whole root ground up to powder form, just like the root powder that thrilled the famous Greek physician Dioscorides more than 2000 years ago. Another aspect that I like is that the contents of each capsule is 100% Rhodiola. I already take several herbs daily and now can add the Rhodiola without having to contend with other herbs that may have been blended with it.I take one capsule early evenings; it relaxes me and, as an allergy sufferer, I breathe more easily through my nose and get a good night's sleep. On the days that I do physical work or exercise I take a capsule in the mornings too. This helps me get through the day without feeling absolutely exhausted by late afternoon (senior citizen syndrome). It does not give me an energy boost like caffeine or an energy drink would for a short period of time, that leaves me exhausted when the effect wears off.Rhodiola Rosea grows mainly in the Northern circum-polar regions and high-altitude mountains. I am always concerned when I buy Rhodiola that it is "Rhodiola Rosea" and not a different species from the Rhodiola genus. So I called Life Seasons and spoke to their customer service, who guided me to their Ingredient Standards webpage, detailing how they select, source and test the product and ingredients.In particular, for botanicals they test for identity, potency and purity, including the presence of microbials and heavy metals on each batch they receive. They also test during the processing, as well as the finished product. Knowing this sure puts my mind at ease.Final bonus: the label print is of a reasonable size. Nice not having to reach for a magnifying glass.
