Works better than I expected.
At the price point it works better than I expected. I am doing a major tree trimming project on my property. I am using a pole saw to reach up high to take down a lot of branches. I use this same chainsaw to clean the leams off the branches. ( Then cut the branches up for fire wood with my large chainsaw.) Before I had this product I was using a hard saw to cut the leams off the branches. This product makes the process much easier and faster. My wife also loves it. She used it to trim up her 4 year old Crap Mertal bushes. About 8 of them. The only negative I have found. I have to keep a can of WD40 spray. Because it does not have a self chain oiler. I understand that adding a self chain oiler would increase their price point. So that I not a big deal to me. It is light weight. The safety release button by the finger trigger is great. And I trimmed with it all day and only used one battery. My wife went through two batteries the day she did her cape Mertals. So I believe the batter live was better than expected also.

Mini chain saw
This portable mini chain saw is the BEST tool I've purchased in years. I used a Dewalt battery to power and went to town trimming bushes, tree branches and overgrown shrubs. Very easy to use, powerful. Saws well, clean cuts. The battery lasts a long time so you can clear a lot. Tool well built & sturdy. Safety catch. Blade approximately 6 inches performs well.

Not to bad of a little saw really!
Okay so the plastic guard on the front of the saw broke off the first one very very easily and the company sent me another new saw (have to return the broken one). There wasn't really anything wrong with the saw, just the hand guard broke. The only thing I have a problem with on this saw is the same thing I have a problem with on the combo 6"/8" battery powered saw... and that problem is the oiler. The oiler on these LIVOWALNY saws really doesn't do much and they sure aren't automatic oilers like they lead you to believe. You have to pump and pump and pump forever before oil gets on the chain... it wasn't made correctly to where the internal oil port lines up with the hole on the bar so the oil can't really get to the bar except when it drizzles all over the place inside the bar/chain cover. The oil will finally get on the chain after most of it runs out the bottom of the saw.So other than the oiler problem the saw cuts good, seems to have plenty of power and works great just don't let anything bump the hand guard.I believe this saw will be a great asset on camping trips so I can find dead branches and cut them up for fire wood instead of buying little expensive bundles of wood. There is dead branches everywhere and since this saw is really quiet compared to gas chainsaws no one will hear you, or be offended that you're using up waste wood.I'll be taking this saw along with me on every camping trip! Free firewood is the best firewood!

Worked for first try for a out 5 min, but not second time.
I had this for about about 1.5 months before using. Used first time for about 5 minutes. I cleaned it up and returned to case. Very happy with it at this point. As you can see by the picture it has very little use. I pulled it out of the case to use it about 1 month later and it did not turn the chain and did not make any noise. I did see a read light but think that is normal. The chain does move freely when turning by hand. I tried several fully charged batteries with the same results. I did email the company, and have not resolved as of yet, but they have responded with additional questions. They did give me a couple of suggestions to try, but they were thing I already did. I will update when they respond. At this time it is not worth the 5 minutes of use I got out of it.

Very Happy
I live in Michigan and I cut down three pine trees with my regular saw and cut all the branches off with this. Only need one hand, light, cuts good. Remember to let the saw do the cutting try not to push hard makes it easier to cut

Fantastic chain saw
I thought that for less than $40.00 it must be a toy. Man, was I wrong. I have trimmed 6 inch limbs off a tree and have removed some small trees. It came with 3 saw chains and I am still using the one that came with the chain saw and it has not needed to be sharpened.

I've only used it once, but I like it
I've only used this saw once, but I really liked it. I have an 8 ma DeWalt battery I used it with. It was difficult to connect (I had to force it on), but chalked that up to it being new. It cut about 40 scrub oak trees ranging from 1 inch to 6 or 7 inches in diameter with ease. I like that it came with tools to adjust it, three chains, safety glasses, gloves, and an oil container. The instructions didn't mention how or when to oil the chain, so I'm not sure when to do that. Overall, if it lasts, I'll love it. If it breaks or burns out quickly, I'll add that to this post.

Works OK
Upper chain guard is a joke. Held in place by metal wire spring end sticking out and the plastic plate holding chain on. Trick to get it all held in place along with the chain when replacing chain. Would be nice if there was an auto oiler on it. After using a bit it sounds like the bearings in motor are going out.
