Excellent Little Side Cutters for Stranded Wire
The KAIWEETS 5.0-inch 2-in-1 wire cutter/side cutter is a great little tool for electrical and general wiring work. It’s compact enough to keep in a small tool bag, but it still feels solid in the hand and cuts cleanly without needing a lot of force. I’ve been using it mainly on 10–20 AWG stranded wire, and it makes quick, precise cuts without fraying the strands too badly. The jaws line up well, and the edge feels sharp and consistent—no crushing or chewing through the wire like cheaper cutters. The size is also ideal for tighter spaces where full-size cutters feel awkward. Overall, it’s a simple, well-made tool that does exactly what it should: clean cuts, easy handling, and a nice compact form factor for everyday wiring tasks.
