But they could be. The packaging is a little weird, coming loose inside a plastic bag inside of a box. The refills all have the appropriate markings matching the one already inside of my pen. They write nicely and I’m able to use them not only as intended but also as a refill in my Dr Grip pens which was a welcome surprise. I’ve had bad luck with other Pilot refills from Amazon but these are working great. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or purchase them again.

I'm picky about writing instruments. These are one of the best...smooth and no drag or skipping. Love that you can buy these refills and not keep buying the entire pen!

Pilot's precise line are my absolute favorite gel refills. The ink is a very dark black, incredibly smooth, almost never skips or clogs, and the nib of the precise line feels much better to write with than for example the G2 or uniball gel pens. I've not had much issue with the ink smudging or running, but it is always important to do a test before confidently using any sort of highlighter or eraser over top of these. I've found that some of my highlighters work beautifully over top, while others seem to always pick the ink back up even if it is dry.

Love these pens so I was excited to find out I could find refills for them.

These are my favorite pens. I keep them with me at work so I can refill my pens when they dry out. I have not purchased another brand in 1 year.
