For the price, the vanity is an excellent buy for my 16yo. Looks great and functional; plenty of storage and my daughter appreciates the charging station and light settings on the mirror! People complain about it being a PVC type material and chipping; it's clearly stated in description and for the price, it would not be real wood and some minor chipping can occur. In my opinion, the amount of storage and features of the mirror and charging station far outweigh the cheaper material.It did take a long time to put together but, directions are pretty easy and straightforward. The power unit was defective; blinked a lot then, stopped working altogether. I contacted customer service and they responded right away; very apologetic and sent out a replacement part within days. They reached out to me again to make sure the new part was received and working as it should be. Amazing service! My daughter is super happy.

This is a great piece for the price. Relatively compact, good storage, reasonable quality. Assembly does take some doing, it took us about 3 hours to put together, but it was a fun project. The way the light bar plugs in is a little hokey, seems like there would be a better solution. Would buy again

This is a very cute and sturdy vanity. My boyfriend built it for me because he has a furniture design degree and I’m terrible with those printout instructions, so I cannot say how hard or easy assembly is. The overall look of the vanity is beautiful. Everything works perfectly and I would recommend. The built in outlet and different light settings are awesome.

My daughter wanted a vanity with the classic bulb-style lights. This fit the budget and the need! We built it together with no problems. In my teen years, I worked for an electronics retailer and I built a lot of these particle board furniture units... they can break easy if you do it wrong. Especially easy to strip out pre drilled holes if you're not careful. You need to make sure you're square with the hole and press firmly and make sure the screw-threads bite into the wood. If you're sideways even a little bit, you can break the wood around the hole. So we proceeded carefully and it went together without a problem. This style of furniture is strong once you get it together and can last for many years. But avoid moving it too often :) My daughter truly enjoys having her own space to get ready in the morning. And it looks adorable in her room. We are very happy with this vanity.

the desk is made from pressed wood, not even MDF quality, the wooden pegs fit very loosely in the holes, no glue was provided, the C cams were very cheaply made, the USB port for the lights has to be plugged into the side so you lose a plug in, the light switch is hokey, you either have to put it in the open shelf or let it hang on the side of the table, either way it is convenient. It is not worth your time in putting it together.I understand it was not a high dollar item, but for over $200.00, I expected it to be better quality. Do not waste your money in buying this vanity desk.

This *might* have taken me 6 hours to finish by myself but I enjoyed it because honestly look how nice it turned out!! Worth every penny & second of my day. I am so in love with my new vanity desk. I can work at it & do my make up & my hair. Plenty of storage space, organization, the lighting changes to whatever I need/see fit. Also never been more proud of myself for literally piecing together the drawers/lights/cabinet— nothing comes put together LOL.

The vanity is nice but made out of cheap wood and chips very easily!

I purchased this for my 13 year old sister. She loves it. Overall, good for price. Instructions were easy to follow along. There was only one step in the instructions that seemed to have been wrong but we easily fixed it on our own. I liked that the vanity came with an outlet plugThe electricity hook up was pretty nice and lights are working just great. There were a few boards that came chipped or cracked but they weren't bad enough to make the vaniity fall apart. As seen in picture, the vanity is pretty small so I wouldn't buy it for anyone over age 14. This vanity cost less than $300 so if you plan to buy don't expect the quality to be excellent. It's sturdy and worth the price.Took my boyfriend 4 hours to build.
