When I received this RC mosasaur my 4 year old could hardly wait to get it out of the package! It’s very visually appealing (golden teeth and glowing eyes!) and the paint job seems to hold up well to repeated water exposure. I filled up a kiddie pool on my back patio for the first use. It was easy enough for a toddler to use. The directions said that it has forward, backward, left and right movement capabilities, but I didn’t find it able to reverse. My kiddo accidentally dropped it onto the patio and the tail came off. We were able to reattach it, minus the tip.We next took the toy to a small lake in our neighborhood and all the kids on the dock were clambering for a chance to try it. Older kids quickly lost interest by the limited functions and slow speed. My daughter and her friend made up a game of one kid on the dock with the other swimming. The robot would attempt to sneak up and tag the swimmer unless the swimmer caught it first in which case they’d fling it as far away as possible. It always lands in a position to swim during these shenanigans, though the remaining tail piece broke off and sank to the bottom of the lake. We have used it a few more times and I think the slow speed and limited movements lost their thrill pretty quickly.

This product works good in the water, but as far as getting the battery back in after you charge it, it takes a long time. It doesn't line up quite right, so you almost have to leave it a little lose, for the dinosaur to turn on. It was probably manufactured wrong, I would hope they all aren't this way. I intended to return it to get my money back, but I was passed the amount of days. The two times we were able to use it, once it was put together it worked fine but after that we couldn't get it to work.

My nephew loved it. There are not many toys that one can play in water with a remote control. My nephew used it in swimming pool to rqce himself against the toy and his friends. He spent good one hour playing with it.Build quality is solid . Great value for money. Battery life is also solid , lasting about 40-60 mins with moderate use .Overall a fun buy for kids age 4-12.

I really like the product. Came well packaged and everything was intact. Tried one battery and it worked for a few minutes, but after trying to charge it the battery did not work. Tried the second battery and it did not work either after charging.

I bought it for my 6 year old who is ridiculously obsessed with dinosaurs and he loves it! Really cool that it's waterproof and it's SUPER LIFELIKE! Smooth swimming movement, turns so easily and moves really fast. It's easy to charge! Little pricey but worth it! Bathtime is a blast! My daughter got scared though- she thought there was a baby shark in the bathtub!

I think it’s really is you get what you pay for looks good. The best part about it. Is you get two batteries rechargeable that’s a big plus but does not travel through the water gracefully my five year old grandson kinda likes it with that be said I would give it a five out of 10 thank you

My son absolutely loved playing with this toy in the bathtub. He couldn't wait to open it when he received it as a gift. The toy was very easy to assemble, and it was very easy for him to control in the bathtub. It comes with 2 batteries so you can continue playing with it while one charges. My son and I both thought the lights were awesome on the dinosaur, and he really enjoyed playing with it in the dark. We also brought it to the pool, and I drove it while he swam after it trying to catch it. It goes pretty fast for an almost 5 year old. All in all a great product, and I am happy with the purchase.
