Q: How many ounces is each pack?

I don't know off hand...maybe that info is listed on Amazon? 1 pack is about 15 to 20 min.

Q: Why can't you use these on propane fire pits? & please don't answer by saying, "it'what the manufacturer says" because that's not an answer!

Bc it leaves a residue that can clog the jets (and cover lava rocks) that would affect how the propane flows. We clean out our (non propane ) fire pit and it leaves behind a hard rock-like mass. Colorants use all different kinds of chemicals that can affect the safe operation of a propane system. So, the manufacturer “says do” bc it’s dangerous. 🤷♀️

It says not to...haven't tried. Wood pits is all I've used them for so far

I'd say 15 to 20 min per pack?? Something like that. We usually throw in around 3 or 4 depending on how big the fire is. There fun and pretty
