Recorded in upstate New York, in a converted church called Dreamland with producer/engineer Chris Coady (who has worked with TV On The Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Blonde Redhead), Teen Dream is their third album and their Sub Pop debut. Teen Dream gives voice to a full universe of unbridled imagination, and the manifestation of the album has been a welcomed and all-consuming obsession for Beach House the past nine to 12 months.

briefly............
.........been a while for an album to to capture me on first listen let alone a band i'd never heard before. I bought out of interest after stumbling across it and listening to the audio samples. It floats along nicely with some beautiful tunes, current faves being 10 mile stereo and lover of mine. Well worth a listen.

A delight
Beautiful melodies and clean sound (this from a Ramones fan), a worthy forerunner to bloom. Some songs a bit weak, but overall worth having.
